The location was a plus many great restaurants nearby also the safety of the hotel. You need your room card to get into the garage. Also, you can go to your room directly from where you park your car. They provide daily cleaning (upon your request) as well as providing free bottles of water daily. The design of the hotel was amazing. Note: make sure to request for a room with washing machine if you need as not the rooms have one.

The only thing that I didnt like was as most of the reviews mentioned (The Sofa) it was not comfortable unlike the bed it was really comfy.

The location was great as I was visiting my daughter who is at UCLA. Lots of restaurants nearby, and other convenience stores also. This more than made up for the hotel not having its own restaurant or room service. The room was large a separate living area with cooking facilities which came in handy also. Cleanliness appears to be a major focus area as Martina who serviced my room did her work thoroughly. I had a room that opened into a pretty courtyard. All the staff I met were friendly, attentive, courteous and keen to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. Albert was a stand-out at reception and very supportive. A hidden gem of a hotel!!! I would highly recommend for solo, couples and family visits!!!

The cost of overnight parking!

We booked La Reina blindly...we usually either go AirBnB or stay at another boutique hotel in the Valley. But since the guest tax law came into play, it's hard to find a decent AirBnB in a convenient location for an affordable price (for a long visit.) It EXCEEDED our expectations. They let us switch rooms when we got there to a room w/a washer dryer...we loved the furnishings, the amenities and the QUIET. This is a hidden gem that you'd miss driving by in Westwood, and it doesn't even feel like a hotel; more like a quiet apartment building. The staff was excellent. Parking was reasonable ($40/car per day). The location was the next best thing - out the door is the center of Westwood Village, with all the stores, restaurants & conveniences of a university town. Our dog Frannie was welcome &. she & I walked to the Westwood dog park (about 15 min walk) every morning. The film we worked on was in downtown LA & without traffic, it was a 30 minute drive. We plan to return!

I guess more explanation in the room of the hotel & facilities.

Good hotel for families. Room size was great. We had to change rooms but I would rate the size of both rooms highly. Beds were comfortable. Children had no complaints about the sofa bed. Secure parking as available, albeit rather expensive. I recommend for family.

I was initially given a queen sized bed when we paid for king-sized bed. The room was changed after making a fuss. Not only that, the initial room had no view or balcony. While I know that the view and balcony are not guaranteed, my booking did not specify that the bed size was not guaranteed. It was only fair that the hotel applied a discount for the first night but they refused. I'll let this go since it was still an overall nice experience and the room was changed as requested.

We moved here a day early because our previous hotel had a massive roof leak. Plaza la Reina were so helpful and enabled us to come early. We could check the room before agreeing to stay there and it was clean, quiet and well serviced. Great location for Westwood too with easy walk to UCLA. Staff were so helpful and pleasant.

There wasn’t much we didn't like - it was a lovely light room and good street view. I’m not sure what access would be like if you didnt have a car/taxi but was quite near major roads.

I loved this hotel. we got a one bedroom suite and it is huge! Its the size of a full apartment. The furnishings are very nice, warm and inviting. cool building and in a perfect location for sight seeing. the concierge was SO nice, we were blown away by his amazing service, warmth and hospitality. he was by far the most accomodating hotel staff we came across in our 4 week journey. the beds were super comfy and we were thrilled to have a washing machine/ dryer in the room. outstanding all round!!

The location in Westwood is excellent for getting to both Getty museums and into West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. While the hotel didn’t serve breakfast, there were good options two blocks away. The room was 500 ft.² and beautifully decorated and maintained. Every room is a suite with very comfortable beds (medium plush) and a small kitchen and living area, so it felt like home. The lush gardens on the rooftop and in the tiled courtyard added to the wonderful ambience. Kudos to the staff!

Beautiful building and rooms. Very spacious and well decorated and equipped room.

Our first live contact with staff was then telling us that the bed size confirmed on Booking.com was not guaranteed and possibly not available. However, they did get us what we had been expecting based on the listing and confirmation…after some advocacy on my part. Would have liked a toaster in the otherwise very nicely appointed kitchen. Absence of daily maid service felt a bit stingy and took the shine off the stay a bit. Bathroom tile floor is a problem and left black residue on the bath mat and our socks.
