Days Inn by Wyndham Santa Monica/Los Angeles

Our room was clean, cleaning staff never failed. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. There was a breakfast area. Complimentary choice of breakfast was poor (too many sweets) but you could bring your own food and eat there with hot tea and take an apple. Parking was easy, included in a room price and there was a direct elevator to your floor. Santa Monica is a good location for sightseeing LA, Beverly Hills, Venice and Long Beach. It has also nice beaches and it’s good to be away from the city hectic in the evening. Anyway you need a car. The distance to the shore or downtown is not walkable. We enjoyed our stay there.

The choice of breakfast and that there are one way dishes being used. It produces enormous amount of rubbish 😱 Unfortunately there is much too much plastic being used in USA

The staff was extremely nice! Robert checked me in and even helped out with my future days, I had to book an extra day separate and he made sure I didn’t have to check out and check back in which was very convenient. Manny was also very kind and helpful throughout our stay. These folks are top notch when it comes to service! This place is more economical so you’re not getting high end hotel accommodations as far as the room. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast but if we needed anything the front desk was very nice and helpful. You’re more likely gonna park in the garage underneath but you need your key to get into the door to the elevator. I felt fairly safe. The area in Santa Monica was pretty quiet so we could rest. I do think the people above us were partying but we were still able to rest. The place was clean and provided us with the essentials. The TV didn’t have HDMI but we made due. We also didn’t take advantage of pool. The pier and Promenade are a close drive. Universal Studios wasn’t too bad of a drive either. We went on a Sunday so traffic was awesome. If you’re looking to save a bit; I’d book here; the staff, alone, makes it worth it. Overall it was good for the money. It’s LA; it’s expensive!

Overall stay experience was great. The staff were nice and willing to help at all times. There was also free parking for guests which was important especially when renting a car to travel around. The room was clean and well maintained too. There was a nice surprise that our stay came with a simple breakfast. Although it was very simple (coffee and juice with granola bar) you can never complain for having coffee ready and available in the morning. Overall I am very satisfied and would definitely come back again. I would recommend this place if this is within your budget range.

This goes to California in general but the hotel prices are way too expensive compared to other places. The fridge also made strange noises at night which sometimes woke me up at night.

Safe and quiet area, free carpark. Beds are good, we had a good sleep. CVS arount the corner. The whole experience was good.

Beds are smaller than expected: maybe more like double bed than a queen size bed as on the description of the room. Price is a bit high for the hotel but I guess that we pay the safe area as well and proximity with santa monica. The fridge was making so much noize in the room that we had to turn it off.

I am a repeat customer so I definitely enjoy this hotel. I’ve been staying here for the past 4yrs and I’ve seen the improvements throughout the years. Nice room for the money and of course I got the King Suite with the balcony which is the main reason I keep coming back. The view from the balcony is beautiful.

The only thing I didn’t like this time was the fact that the room never got cool enough so we slept with the patio door open at night to get a breeze. If you fix the AC units everything would be just fine.

The hotel is very comfortable, clean, with very nice large enough rooms, in a good location on Santa Monica Blvd about 1-2 miles from the ocean. Too far to walk, no shopping area nearby, but close enough with a car or uber to get anywhere in west LA.

We chose this hotel over others nearby because they advertise 'Free Breakfast,' but in fact, they only supply coffee, tea, juice, and granola bars, on a little counter, in a side room, to be taken out. If you are staying there for a Free Breakfast with lots of food items and people eating together, etc., it's not happening.

Had the room with balcony which was well worth it. Such a beautiful view. Manny, our check in attendant was phenomenal, and all the staff we interacted with were very nice. Lots of free parking was such a bonus. Really liked the location. Place was very clean, light and airy. Breakfast was donuts, coffee and tea, and unexpectedly, tge donuts were really good.

The only thing would be the balcony door that is crooked so doesn't really close and would let bugs in, but that can be overlooked.

Handy to have coffee in the morning; along with granola bar. Just what we needed to get us going on the road and explore. Location was good.

Had asked for a similar room with double beds instead of a queen which is what we had booked. They said it was available for a fee. I am sure they could have accommodated us free of charge as other hotels do if available.

I really enjoyed the huge balcony we had. Our room was also huge. There is a mini fridge and microwave. The bed was absolutely superb! I slept so good and it was so comfy, almost didn't want to get out of bed lol! It's in a quiet area, you feel safe. There is also a sundeck on the 4th floor where you can have a little party, smoke, and get some sun! It's close to lots of places, CVS, Starbucks, Jamba, Subway, McDonald's just to name a few. The free parking was awesome and I felt pretty safe leaving my car because there are lots of cameras in the parking garage and in the hotel. Plus they have someone check the license plates every night to make sure no one is trying to park there who isn't supposed to. The shower was strong and hot! Bathroom had tons of counter space as well. It was clean, tidy, and smelled fresh. There are vending machines as well, soda and snack machines. Also love the pink and teal colors of the exterior! Gives it a 80s Miami Vice vibe to it lol.

I didn't like the staff that was there the 2nd to last day of our stay. The lady was rude and coy. The breakfast selection is lackluster; literally 4 different things to choose from all wrapped or signle served. Coffee was watery and there were no lids, so I spilled on the way up. Thank goodness there was a Starbucks just down the street. Also, the floors are very thin, we heard a child in the next room non-stop running back and forth when we were just trying to lay down. I called the front desk, after that it stopped thank goodness. TV was old, picture quality was not very good. Also, the window curtains could be updated to better and thicker, sucked that light came thru in the morning because they are so thin.

The whole staff here is above and beyond. Mich, Valentina, Manny, are names i know, and will help you with anything you need. This place has had an upgrade, and I loved it before, and now find the rooms to be fresher, just what you need. Location is great, and I am a great appreciator of parking, which i feel is safe and secure. This is it. Thank you, days inn....
