Super 8 by Wyndham Los Angeles Downtown

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. The room was spacious and looks better than on the pictures. Free breakfast was really good - many options (bagels, waffles, yoghurt etc.), unlike in most similar motels where you only get one pastry. Location is good too, close to major freeways, Griffith Observatory and movie studios, yet right next to a big park around the stadium.

One afternoon we came back to our room door opened - the cleaning lady must've forgotten to lock it.

location was great for Dodgers game. I am always skeptical when I see “walking distance” but it was. also convenient to downtown LA and other sites around town. Clean rooms, friendly service, sufficient breakfast. Great value for LA. Would definitely stay there again.

The only “problems” were that there were only SMOKING rooms available and the room SLIGHTLY smelled of smoke when you first walked in. Also, the room keys only worked for 24 hours, so you had to get them re-programmed each day.

Location was good Breakfast was ok no egg..

Carpet condition was so bad.. carpet was so dirty.... at least wash it every cpuple of months or put hardwood floor.. easy to clean

The location was great especially because it was near the bus line and not too far from where I had to go.

I did like that and have standard pillows milk butter or waffles and bread.

The location was perfect for us. Within walking distance to the Dodgers stadium. Roomy room that didn't smell.

The prices in the vending machine was too high. Not many selections either.

Great location. Target, Ross, Marshall's, Ralph's and Starbucks all within a 5 minute walk.

The room was small but comfortable. It didnt seem clean to us, bed was made, everything appeared neat and in its place. I pulled a side table out a bit to access an outlet and jumped at what I first thought was a centipede or insect of that nature before realizing it was actually a fake eyelash and a few dust bunnies. Not the end of the world but just made us wonder what other surprises awaited us. The bathroom obviously had an update, looks great. Rainfall showerhead trickled at best, zero water pressure.

I liked the proximity of hotel to train station, very convenient for a couple of tired travelers literally a couple minutes by taxi from station or walkable if you’re traveling light. The young Hispanic lady that checked us in (didn’t get her name) was extremely nice and friendly. We only stayed one night but I must admit hotel exceeded our expectations. Room was quiet, clean and very spacious as well as bathroom and it included fridge and microwave and big screen TV. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Also included an adequate continental breakfast and coffee. What moré can you ask for? Great value for the money IMO, I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

We had an amazing experience staying at this place! The staff was really amazing and made us feel very welcomed, specially the Latin girls at the reception, they were so nice and helpful during our stay. The selection of breakfast was really nice, the room was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t actually book it to go to the Dodger Stadium but I realised it’s the best place to stay if that’s your intention, just few minutes away. Nothing negative to say about this place. We will certainly go back to stay there every time we need to go to LA. ¡Muchas Gracias! :)

Clean throughout. Easy location to Union Station for Amtrak. Good value with breakfast included.

Marathon Sunday was handled poorly. No info given at booking or check-in. Paper notice was not specific about street re-opening & desk clerk proved to be inaccurate by about 4 hours. Not helpful. Bathtub was extremely slippery with bottom area surface worn down to nothing . Not safe!.

We like this property because of the location and cleanliness (most of the time)

Our toilet was clogged and flushed VERY slow and the housekeeping staff had to see that was the case when they cleaned the room. I feel they should have repaired that issue before checking us in the room.
