Comfort Inn South San Jose - Morgan Hill

Free breakfast was good. The waffles and fresh fruit were a hit with my kids. For an older hotel, it was clean. Some minor wear for example, paint scratched off furniture, stain on curtain, bathroom smelled strange (like moldy wood). I do expect this since it's older. The beds were comfortable and clean. No bugs or spiders at all. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed mid-week and they had a lot of guests but it was quiet. Be aware it is by the freeway and if you have the window open you will hear lots of traffic.

The gym was very small. Treadmill and some weights but enough to get a short workout in. Pool and hot tube was clean and nice. They supplied towels for the pool in the gym.

My room was very clean, and housekeeping came to check on my needs more than once, which I appreciated. The breakfast options were great, although I just grabbed coffee and yogurt to go. All of the staff I met were very helpful and friendly.

Can't think of anything - I will stay at this property again when I visit my local friends and family.

The woman working nights was wonderful. I am disabled and she helped me with my bag. The room was very comfortable. The location was perfect. I had just flown into San Jose and was heading to Monterey and Big Sur. The front desk clerk and the room made this my favorite stop on my entire 12-day trip.

The only way this could have been better would have been a free room.

We choose this place on our west coast trip for a 3 day break and really liked it. Especially we liked the gym, sauna, the pool area as well as the breakfast. Also the wifi was working really good, so we have had some video calls without any problems.

Breakfast was suitable and simple for quick breakfast, not inclined to hang around, preferred to eat in my room. Loved my king-sized bed, very comfortable! Room quiet and clean, slept well that night! Like the late check out, will keep in mind for future stays!

Continental breakfast adequate, but presentation could have been more enticing, more welcoming. Also, had a little trouble with tv remote and pulling up guide for shows, had to go channel by channel, too tired to call for help.

The breakfast was very good had some protein. The room was very nice and clean. There was a fridge and a microwave and coffee machine.

The lighting is pretty poor in the room I couldn't get it bright enough to read. Also I touched a lamp and the shade fell off. Some things in the room seemed not really ready to go.

The pool was open. Every other hotel we have stayed at in the last two years has always had their pool closed. Breakfast was great.

Only that the side entrance was locked so someone had to go through the front to open it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the accommodations were clean, updated and comfortable, the complementary breakfast was good and the location was convenient to everything I came to enjoy. Excellent Mexican restaurant was just a block away with outstanding margaritas!! ( a recommendation from one of the staff). When I come back to visit the Gilroy area I will stay at this Comfort Inn again!!

Spacious room with mini-fridge. Excellent location to fairgrounds (short walk).

Blackout curtains did not close all the way allowing significant light in at the crack of dawn. Pillows were not very comfortable.

Staff was friendly and helpful to everyone, it was close to where we needed to be, and the room was wonderful. Oh, and the breakfast was fantastic.
