Hampton Inn & Suites Gilroy, Ca

Property was close to downtown restaurants. Staff was helpful & friendly.

When I called to verify reservation I was transferred over to members service & basically they were trying to sell me trips. I told her more than once it just wasn’t in the budget & that I wasn’t interested. This was definitely something I wasn’t expecting it & the fact that it took way to long for her to go over future trips I wasn’t interested in made the experience a little unpleasant. I didn’t want to be rude , she was friendly but if I’m not interested then I’m not interested no need to proceed. At the hotel The beds were a little hard & No on-site restaurant.

The front young lady named "Dream", was so amazing. You don't find customer service better than this young lady, if I was hiring a person to represent a Company I would choose this young lady. The staff to include the cleaning staff and the kitchen staff all make the place a wonderful place to stay.

Nothing bad about the place,

The coffee machine in the lobby is AWESOME! If you love the smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning just head to the lobby. The place is immaculate, cleanest hotel I have stayed in for years. The beds and pillows are the best, the bed is actually better than my very expensive bed at home! The staff is very friendly and helpful at every turn. Everything about this place is top notch. It makes for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. If you find yourself in Gilroy, this is your huckleberry!

so it’s located next to the train tracks , freeway and a large truck parking lot fuel station. a lot of freeways noises. A humming sound like equipment running on and off all night. not on the property but across the street is a homeless camp.

Excellent reception staff, comfortable bed, superb shower and generous breakfast.

Cleaners who were shouting to each other whilst cleaning the rooms at around 8am. Very disturbing.

After traveling all day, I was welcomed with a smile and complimentary beverages. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. I can't remember the name of the young lady who checked me in 9/18 about 7 pm, but she everything an employee should be!

Everything was exceptional

It was clean and very welcoming. It felt safe and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Will definitely stay again.

The parking lot was a bit small and not very many spaces available

Location - it’s at the southernmost end of Gilroy in an area that seems to be a truck stop. Not unsafe, just nothing in the immediate vicinity.

Excellent value choice for a 1 night stay. Beds were super comfortable! Complimentary bottled water on arrival and complimentary continental breakfast were two very nice bonuses - not usual in the USA. Room and bathroom were both spotless. Staff very friendly and professional.

One tiny thing - no shower caps in bathroom.

The property is very clean, the room was spacious and complete in its amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room did not have enough lighting for work, since the room was very big.
