Residence Inn by Marriott Oxnard River Ridge

The property was neat and clean. The gentleman that checked me in was friendly and knowledgeable. Very welcoming. The bed omg!! I am the type of person that 90% of hotel beds are nightmares for me to sleep on. This bed I lay down and fell asleep right away. Breakfast was nice. The staff was great.

There are only 3 negative things. Which 2 can be easily fixed. The light over the breakfast bar was bent. Looks like someone accidentally hit it. The fridge rattled of and of during the night. The last one is some that the hotel can’t really control. It sounded like the people in the next room were a pack of huge elephants. You could here every step. Boom boom.. but like I said the last one is a tough one for the hotel to control

We stayed here bc of the full kitchen and the pool. Unfortunately both pools were closed due to resurfacing... although when I booked the hotel said their pool would be open July 1st. We booked for July 5-9 so that was perfect timing BUT no pool, with 2 young kids we were disappointed and would’ve booked somewhere else to have that amenity. The breakfast was insufficient for children and luckily we went to the grocery store for kids cereal etc the same day we arrived to stock up. It’s time to open breakfast to full capacity... covid is not an excuse any longer. That being said this was a great place to stay, Skylar was great at check in and everyone else was friendly and accommodating! This hotel is close to the beaches, dining, shops and the Ventura harbor for island excursions We would recommend this hotels

Pools were both closed in the summer... The breakfast wasn’t great, fake eggs, burnt sausage, no kids cereal

The property is tucked away behind beautiful neighborhoods , golf course & country club. while the units themselves are a little on the older side they are very well kept up & clean . The hot tubs & pools was a plus also !

The room was so big and the pool and views were beautiful. We had such a great time. Breakfast was really good.

I liked everything. There's nothing I didn't like.

Food was good but would have been nice to at least have a few different options on second day instead of the exact same options.

TV needs spanish channels.

The bathrooms need to be upgraded to 21st century from 20th century. Did not look like the higher Marriott quality and standard.

Helpful curtes varey clar to understand

Problem w getting ahold of booking.com tollet them that i had sumhow booked 1 but 3 not mening to. Residenve inn was varey helpful by calanceing exter rooms booked on thare end. Have not got stratend out on booking.com 10 4 the Residence Inn by Marriott. Thank you varey much

loved the pool area, ENJOYED THE SPACIOUS ROOMS , very good breakfast

everything was good to great. If you were to change anything it would be a little larger shower or bathtubs.
