Best Western Plus Pleasanton Inn

We chose this hotel because of its location and it was great not only for the location but the room was a good surprise. Don´t be fooled by the old fashioned facade and small lobby, the room was great, with everything a grand hotel has, and very clean. Also, all the staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good and complete (although after several days I would appreciate more options). For the rate we paid, we got what we expected and more. Very convenient.

The only thing I can complain about is the pillows. They were very, very soft ... almost useless. I know some people like them like that, but I personally do not.

The property was very clean. All staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The mini fridge worked well and had a box freezer in it as well which was very convenient. The continental breakfast was very good and had lots of variety. The area is very nice and there’s several restaurants within walking/short driving distance. There’s a very cool park across the freeway from the hotel that my son had a blast playing at.

Upon check in, I had already pre paid for my stay 1 month ago. They charged me for my stay again when I checked in plus the $100 security deposit. They did not tell me they were going to charge me for the stay again. When I checked out, the lady informed me and said I will be getting the credit back on my card, however it will take a few days for this to happen. There is no need for them to charge me again. Every other hotel I’ve stayed at and prepaid for my stay in advance has never done this. Be aware this will happen here. My room key didn’t work to use the gym or the pool which was a huge inconvenience.

cleaning room services, consider opportunity to regularly WET clean the carpet.. my sole got dirty.

just a thought.. for guests with pet.. shall immediately responsible to clean or pick up pet pup.. the hotel management shall designate specific grass section for pets to prevent other guests stepping into pet pup. The senior staff (gentleman) should be more responsive to the reported light bulb to be replaced. No action to replace the light bulb on side table.

Heater worked well, bed/sheets/bathroom very clean, pretty good blackout curtains, no overly fragranced cleaning products. Good water pressure, good sized fridge. Room laid out well. Desk staff very nice.

Slight smell to the room initially— not bad (I have a mold allergy, and this was ok for me), better after airing it out for 30 minutes. We had stayed in a Best Western the previous night about 3 hours away, and it had better sound insulation from the highway it was next to— probably just sealing the space under the door would do it.

I was pleasantly surprised that the room we were in was clean! My family loved that it came with both a fridge and microwave which came in handy. My kids enjoyed the hot breakfast, fruits, cereals and juice.

The internet was really bad given I had to work; reason why we were in town.

Large room, comfortable beds. Easy access to interstate and restaurants.

Breakfast needs more options for those who do not eat meat. Burritos all had meat, should have included bean and cheese only. Eggs should be in a warmer separate from bacon and sausage. Beds needed some firm pillows.

Nice facility, pretty clean (although an ant trail showed up in the middle of the night in the bathroom). We notified the front office & although the ants were dead when we returned, we had to clean up the carcasses. Other than that, truly everything else was quite nice. Staff was friendly, professional & attentive.

They were able to check us in early, we have a 2 year old and having access to their lobby to heat up our food after a long drive was perfect. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. We had breakfast the next day and the staff was so accommodating and patient with our little one. Will def be staying again if ever in the area!

Hotel is at a great central location for Dublin/Pleasanton. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Breakfast layout was good, they have 1 waffle maker. Basic layout in room - refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, alarm clock. Good hotel for tradesman/blue collar. Value is excellent and hotel was very clean.

Fabulous breakfast, caring, helpful staff. Very clean. Great hot tub. Convenient location.

First placed in unusable room. Then 2 full sized beds. Not comfortable, but just Okay bed.
