Sonesta ES Suites Sunnyvale

I liked that there was plenty of parking and access around property from both sides. It also was conveniently close to Hwy 101. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for a week’s stay. Lastly the middle section with pool was beautiful and quiet. The breakfast was complimentary, and basic but very clean with a very long window of availability in the mornings. Also the fitness room was exceptional in having a ton of updated and high end equipment for a small setting. Again… very clean! But the absolute best part of the experience were the two gentlemen at the front desk, who couldn’t have been friendlier and went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. True professionals!!

I didn’t like so much that their wasn’t an elevator and the stairs weren’t of superior construction. The hot tub was non-functional throughout most of my week.

The staff is SO friendly and helpful. It's some of the best service I've ever received at a hotel. The internet was fast and reliable. I loved the free laundry and breakfast. The breakfast slightly changed each day and was more than just a continental breakfast, so that was appreciated, too.

I wish breakfast went later and that the pool/hot tub were open later than 9pm. The heat in my room was finicky and took several days to warm up to the temperature I set it at, and then would go higher and lower than what I had set on its own.

The staff members were very nice and extremely helpful the rooms were comfy

They don't clean the rooms frequently, they should have more variety in meat items in breakfast they only serve pork, and they should replace items in breakfast when finished up to the end time of breakfast

The front desk staff was excellent and very responsive to an room air conditioning issue we had. They were welcoming, warm and efficient. The included breakfast was surprisingly varied and accommodated the regular and vegan eaters in our family. The kitchen staff replenished the items in a very timely fashion. The afternoon cookies and doggie treats were a very nice touch. The pool, outdoor grilling area with seating and basketball mini court were nicely arranged and guests actually used the amenities.

I love the room set up of the 2bedroon suites it was perfect for our family of 7. I love the grill set up for guests to use and the pool was warm!

The beds could of been more comfortable, kind of felt like I was sleeping on cardboard.

The property feels very secure and quiet considering being so close to the freeway! Everything was very clean and accessible. We truly enjoyed our stay! The staff at the front desk and those helping out at breakfast btw, are exceptional.

The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suites…with living room and full kitchen. PARKING was accessible and plentiful.The area was very quiet. Would stay at this property again.

The location is a bit remote and a little bit hard to find. Although the area is remote and quiet….it’s secluded nature is not conducive to walking to shops or convenience store.

Excellent hot breakfast with numerous choices and constant refills. Staff mature and very friendly. Front desk staff cooperative in making schedule changes. Front desk fully manned so no waiting. This 2 bedrooom, 2 bath (shower) suite especially useful for longer stay, with separate full kitchen & living room areas, work desk & 3TVs. Well maintained and updated older building style. Ample parking close to suite.

Location was great , room was nice - a strange smell of 'Indian' food on arrival but not a big deal . Staff friendly and helpful . Pool was clean - the hot tub look like it needs resurfacing or a good clean .

A little disappointed there was no cooked breakfast but understand due to the current pandemic . Wasn't told about breakfast times upon check in which would have been nice as we missed it the day we left as weekdays it seems to be done earlier . The selection was ok - maybe add boiled eggs 😀 ..

spacious room, the kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable than most. location is close to 237 and 101 and shopping/food is within a few miles, quiet.

The mugs in the kitchen were dirty; the previous person did not wash them. They gave three towels, found the third one dirty; I can forgive the never-dying one strand of hair but multiple different colored hair strands? Yeah no. There are specific times on when to exchange towels and bedding at the front, but I work; well, the hours are right after I get back.
