Best Western Alamosa Inn

We only stayed one night. Conventionally located.

I asked for an extra blanket upon arrival, it was late and we were ready for bed. The guy on duty told me he would have to wait until his partner came back, he had the keys to laundry. I went back a couple of times with the same response. Finally I called again and another guy answered. He apologized and stated the need for a blanket wasn't reported to him and he immediately brought us one.

The people are friendly, the breakfasts were hot and tasty, and the room was clean and bright. It also had a window in the bathroom to allow for fresh air.

The bathroom could use some maintenance, the shower drained slowly and tub could soon use replacement.

The staff member on reception was very friendly and kind. The grounds were clean & tidy. Breakfast was free; however, we did not eat there as we left early in the morning. Parking was also free. KFC next door, however, drive through only when we were there.

Not a dislike as such but the building was dated, and the rooms could do with an upgrade to be more modern.

Ability to accommodate ALL of our requests. Pool and picnic area made it fun! We were loud with six children and no one told us to be quiet. Price (I booked in May, I believe.) was affordable. Every person was very nice and helpful. We would actually return for another stay if we ever return to that area. Dogs OK is a MUST. Bad dogs don’t get to travel much, so I’m glad you allow those of us with good dogs to travel with them. Thank you for some of the best family memories in these trying times! Bless you all.

Shower was pretty light making it difficult to rinse. Beds were falsely advertised as larger when I booked than they were. You caused us QUITE a hassle and much frustration by not being honest about the fact that all of the beds are SO small. You made it impossible to provide ourselves with the correct amount of bed space. Believing the beds were at least Queen sized, made it very very difficult for all of us to have enough room to sleep. Why the dishonesty? I would have never booked with you if I had known they were so small. Up-size the beds, or be more honest on Booking.com.

Standard inn to stay for a night, but with a great indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Front desk people were super friendly. They gave us almond milk for breakfast when I mentioned I was lactose intolerant.

The beds were a little small and the bathtub was a little old. Room had good size.

The lady at the front desk was awesome. The hot tub was perfect.

A male housekeeper complained very loudly outside our room that he couldn't get in to clean because we were still in there. This was at 10 am and check out was at 11 am . The pool was a little to cool

The room was clean, the linens were soft, and the staff was friendly. The loved the to go bags for breakfast, putting everyone’s safety first. There is a nice place to sit out and have breakfast and the pool was nice after a hot day at the Sand Dunes.

The cost seemed really expensive. I’m sure they are all around the same in this area but $173 for a hotel in Alamosa seemed a bit much. Also the hot tub was lovely until we turned on the jets and soon realized that there was dirt and hair was floating along with us.

The Breakfast area was always clean and plenty of seating. They did bag meals, due to COVID 19 Precautions, which I appreciated, and coffee, juice, and dry cereal were great grab and go.

The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers in the shower leaked and we did not get to use them because they would empty out in the day, so by the time we got back to the room, the containers were empty, I did ask for a refill one evening and then next morning it was all empty.

The staff were great. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area.

The only complaint I can think of is the price was a bit high and the pool was colder than we would've liked, but it was not freezing.

We absolutely LOVED it here. The staff member checking us in seemed a little annoyed with us interrupting his tv show, the rest of the staff however was amazing. so very friendly and made us feel right at home. Would stay here again.
