Best Western Denver Southwest

Loved the location - off a main street, quiet (no loud trucks, motorcycles etc.), a well-placed mid-point between people we were visiting. Excellent coffee! Staff was courteous and helpful. Beds were extremely comfortable. Can't say enough good things about the maid service - we had to leave early due to a medical emergency and after advising the manager about a number of items we were unable to take care, she wished us health and a good journey, and not to be concerned.

Large dogs barking at night down the hall. The entry door by our room had a defective card reader and more often than not it required a walk to the other side of the facility to gain entrance. Based on overheard calls from the front desk staff, we were charged up to $40 more per night than some other guests for a comparable room.

The dinosaur theme, pool, and hot tub make this a special place. freshly cooked breakfast is great, and the whole staff very friendly and helpful.

ADA room did not have enough lighting, and the switch to a Queen from a king bed is not comfortable. Sleeping with a handicapped person can be challenging for various reasons. The sofa bed mattress was terrible. Unless double Queen rooms can be ADA, we will not be able to stay in this place again.

The ambience was nice, the room was mostly comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good. The pool looked nice even though we never used it.

NO USB PORTS IN THE ROOMS. The breakfast service seemed nice but was served from the same warmers as a self-serve breakfast. Seems like a way for someone to get a tip. There was only one choice of pillow. Hard and flat. My neck was killing me.

The room was clean. The sofa bed for the kids in the king suite had a thin mattress, but the kids were fine. Nice sized room for parents and kids. Surprisingly quiet for having a busy highway and street nearby. We're not breakfast people, but it looked nice with made-to-order items, not just continental breakfast. We just grabbed some coffee. The kids enjoyed listening to dinosaur talks in the lobby and the dinosaur fossils/theme.

The entire property was amazingly clean, including my room. The heated pool was delightful. The check-in process was extremely pleasant and professional.

If I could suggest one change, it would be to convert the shampoo and conditioner from tiny, individual bottles to wall-mounted dispensers. Many hotel chains are making this change to help cut down on landfill waste.

The beds were comfortable, breakfast was amazing and the pool was phenomenal. Staff was very friendly. Everything was very clean, the decor was unique and very convenient location.

Our keys deactivated part way through our stay and had to go to the front desk twice to get it fixed. TVs were glitchy due to weak signal and we had a decent sized spider we had to kill.

The breakfast was amazing. Complete and delicious. The transportation from the hotel to other areas of the city was super easy. There were a lot of places to eat and a grocery store near. The hotel was super clean and great.

They didn’t cleaned the room during my stay. I had to ask for shampoo and conditioner when I ran out of them. I had to take out my trash.

loved the location, cleanliness, attention to detail, and layout of the place. Breakfast was good, staff was amazing, and the dinosaur theme was kinda neat. The heated pool and hot tub were fantastic and clean, also the beds were very comfortable. Overall great place!

Very minor but we had issues with our key cards and had to have them reprogrammed twice. Also seemed to be a wash cloth shortage, didn’t ruin our stay though.

The breakfast was honestly better than Dennys or other local breakfast diners. The location was perfect, I was heading towards the mountains the next day, couldn’t have been a more convenient location.

I don’t know if there honestly was a thing a didn’t like. I liked all of it, it is my favorite Best Western spot. I plan on using it more and more when I travel out that way!

The manager Mike greeted us upon arrival. He gave his personal guarantee that our visit would exceed our expectations or to call him He gave us his cell number. When he discoved we had physical limits he switch our room to a ground floor room, Then he insured we had help getting our stuff in to our room. When we approached a suciryt door, most often a staff member was at the door to greet us and to ensure building security. what a great staff.
