Elkwood Manor Bed & Breakfast

Delicious describes the food and libations created just for you at the Happy Hour and divine breakfast Delightful the exquisite interior and private suite. We were NOT part of a wedding or event. We hoped to hide from the hectic vibe of Pagosa Springs and just enjoy some peace and quiet in this lovely area. We were greeted by the owners who immediately made us feel like welcome friends. The cocktail 🍸 menu included our favorite drinks plus gourmet appetizers prepared just for us. Did I mention they brought us blankets to cover our shoulders while we enjoyed the stunning view, treats, and libations? This is the relaxing respite in Pegosa Springs to create another special memory.

We loved everything.

Great breakfast, hight quality toilet paper, interior was very artistic, hosts were welcoming, polite and knowledgeable. Place is kept warm & cozy.

The sofa across from the TV in our front room was extremely uncomfortable (you would sink in and it felt stiff). Also adding another small waist bin (outside the one in bathroom) would have been nice and provide a couple of wine glasses to the room(s).

The property, the hosts, food, drinks, and overall energy were all excellent. We felt welcomed and accommodated during our whole stay. Elkwood Manor is very close to Pagosa but also feels very quiet and tranquil. The provided breakfast was not only delicious and filling, but they were easily able to accommodate our dietary restrictions.

We did not have any criticisms at all. We hope to stay there again.

Set in a scenic mountain landscape, this property is beautiful and operated by the owners who aim to accommodate guests with happy hour and breakfast. The hosts really elevate the experience, as hosts and people. Only 5 minutes from downtown Pagosa Springs

We felt at home! A peaceful serenity surrounded by the San Juan Mountains.

The only thing we didn’t like was the fact we didn’t get to watch the amazing Chef cook so we didn’t learn anything. We left with a FULL stomach and a thirst for culinary knowledge!

Location, view and service/ company were perfect! Can’t say enough good things! 💛 Breakfast so delish and the coffee on point for a coffee lover like myself!

This is an extremely nice, cabin-style lodge on about ten acres. It is a couple of minutes out of the town of Pagosa Springs and has the beautiful panoramic views of the San Juan Mountains that you can't get in the town itself. All aspects of the facilities were excellent with vaulted naked-wood ceilings in all the rooms we saw, very comfortable furnishings and all the technology that is normal these days. The owners are kind, engaging and interesting people. The food was excellent and a great value for the money (we ordered from the available dinner menu). The coffee and tea selection was great with a Keurig and wide varieties of options. The 5-7 pm Happy Hour was a nice touch and a great opportunity to visit with the ownership team. We will definitely be back for additional stays and the availability of pet-friendly rooms is something we are going to utilize.

COVID has forced some adjustments that make interactions a little less personal (you miss out on some non-verbal communication with the required masks). This is not the property's fault, but it impacts the greatest attribute (getting to know new people) of staying at a B & B. The free WiFi definitely slowed down in the mornings and evenings and the lack of faster capacity cell coverage limited your communication options.

amazing location about a mile or two from town. great happy hour with an expansive view of a ranch and the mountains. the hosts are amazing!!! the attention to detail is beyond belief!

Everything about this place was amazing from the owners to the view and Everything in-between. I highly recommend this place and hope to have something as beautiful in my future.

Everything was perfect on our stay! Our cozy suite, the bed, lots of beautiful things and extras in our suite. The location and view were spectacular. The hosts were great, warm, kind and accommodating. Happy hour and breakfast were superb.
