Comfort Inn Salida

I really like how clean this facility is and it's up to date, compared to the Baymont here in town, that place is sadly really not up to date. I really enjoyed my stay here and the hospitality from this establishment is refreshing. Thank you for letting my family and I stay :

I liked everything about this place except that the wifi runs really slow in the room. I also cannot get the T.V. to work properly, as you follow the instructions, and it still doesnt work. Gets frustrating.

Enjoyed 2 nights in this modern, attractive hotel...Salida is a fun small Colorado town located near many other scenic destinations and activities...good hot breakfast and nice room with nice view (rear of hotel)...short drive to downtown where many restaurants are located...didn't expect to see surfers on the Arkansas River in the local park...staff was helpful and friendly...would stay again

Beds were very comfortable, even better than our beds at home. The free breakfast was one of the best we've ever had at a motel or hotel. The staff was great. We will keep coming to this place every year. Our experience has given us a whole new appreciation for Comfort Inns.

Right on the main highway, easy to find. Close to good restaurants. Only a mile from historic downtown Salida and the picturesque River Walk. Very clean hotel. Our room was spacious and spotless. The staff is excellent: very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Ample free parking. Very good wifi internet.

At $229 it isn’t really what I’d call a good value for a pretty standard King room. But post-covid and a vacation area, I get it. The breakfast bar was “Covid-19 Minimalist”. Other hotels we’ve stayed at in the past few days have all had hot breakfast buffets; so I don’t get why this hotel hasn’t opened things up for their guests.

hot tub was lukewarm and pool was grimy. these two amenities were important to me and were a big disappointment.

The hotel was absolutely spotless and we loved the ceiling swimming pool and hot tub indoors. The breakfast was respectable and everything was fresh. The rooms were spacious very clean and the beds were superior in quality without saggy spots. Water pressure is excellent in the shower and the towels were thick and wonderful. You are minutes away from the downtown Salida and for those who imbibe there is a cannabis store right across the street.

The stay for the most part was great! The staff was friendly & the place was clean. They had a few items to eat for the free breakfast but mostly sugary items so we passed. I’m also very glad they have additional cleaning fees for guest that smoke in the rooms.

I booked two rooms & one room had a dirty rag stuck behind the door probably accidentally left behind after being cleaned. The other rooms lamp with two additional outlets didn’t work but luckily I only needed one so I just unplugged the clock & used the wall outlet. I also wished there was covered seating 50 ft away from the door that was mandatory for smokers to use so they weren’t right at the doorway when you & your non-smoking family are trying to get in to the hotel.

Staff was helpful with recommendations for activities: it was quiet and there was a nice view from my room. Plenty of parking close to the building with easy access. Would stay here again!

The staff was very helpful and friendly; facility was great, only thing I'd change was to ask for upper floor, we listened to kids running & jumping on the bed above us until after 12:30am. ?Where were their parents?? Crazy
