Holiday Inn Express Vernon-Manchester, an IHG Hotel

The kitchen staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. The pool is also clean even though felt slightly colder than should be. Breakfast was delicious and being able to pack and go to the room comes in handy with kids who struggle to wake early. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

Throughout my stay at the hotel, all staff were brilliant except one front desk staff who never smiled. Each time I stood waiting to ask a question, she'd look away, pretend not to see me and when she did look up, she wouldn't say anything or even respond when I said hi. Just started at me in disgust like I was a bother. Her face literally screamed, "go away". Again, would be nice to have some shower gel at the pool shower area and have the pool done slightly warmer.

The front staff were helpful. The kitchen staff were amazing, sweet, nice and friendly.The cleaners and other workers were very lovely. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious enough for my 2 kids and I. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The swimming pool was clean, though a bit nippy. The swimming pool area was nice and warm with a clean shower room for each gender. Towels were available at the pool. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom had all essentials. The hotel's location near shops was good. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. The ability to grab your breakfast and go was very convenient as the breakfast time was too early for my kids and so I took their breakfast up to our room for them to eat when they woke. The laundry facility was useful. The lighting in the room was good. The shower power was good. The bathroom was spacious and had all essentials.

The carpet looked worn.

Staff was super friendly and location was excellent. The heated salt water pool was a nice surprise too! Housekeeping was polite and made sure we didn't need anything since we stayed for a few days. The Dove product in the shower was quite nice. Check in was a breeze and value was superb considering how many days we stayed. Breakfast was also hot and fresh each morning.

Our window did not have locks on it. Not an issue for my mother and I but could be a concern for family with children. Other than that, no real complaints at all

Bed and linens so comfortable! The pillow cases were embroidered to indicate which pillowd were soft and which were firm. The linens appeared to be brand new and luxurious.

The bathroom was spotless but just the shower head needed to be changed. I tried to clean it but couldn’t. Also stained Window Treatments and generally the Interior Design needed updating too.

We have stayed a few times here and love it. Clean , location is perfect. We all love the breakfast! Staff in breakfast room is always friendly!

When I asked for extra towels it seemed frowned upon. Not so nice. Only one towel in swimming area and staff even came in and saw it, and never brought any in!!!

Associates were very friendly & accommodating . Facility (including breakfast space) were very clean & well stocked.

Financial policy- took payment out of my account at least 5 days prior to my arrival & then proceeded after arrival to add an additional $150 to my account as a “holding fee” which was pended on my account immediately, but took 3 days AFTER checkout to come off my account.

Smelled like smoke in the hallway. Booked a non-smoking room which was a couple rooms away from the smoking rooms. That part was no pleasant. You should keep all the non-smoking rooms on one floor. Why do smoking rooms still even exist? It’s harmful to your property. Also suggest a better heated pool. It was not warm enough and swimming in it was not that pleasant

Some of the other guests were listening to music pretty loud across the hall. It was tough focusing on getting my work done in the evenings but that’s my only complaint. Besides that the stay was great for the price!

Check-In was quick. The room was clean. The bed was king and very comfortable with large pillows. Bathroom was clean with fresh newer towels. We loved the soap/shampoo/conditioner pumps in shower. We did not have breakfast because we enjoyed a local restaurant, "Vernon Diner" for a fabulous breakfast. Check-out was left at the door which is always convenient. Thank you for a great weekend!

We could tell that they were in the process of upgrading the outdoor appearance. Defiantly needed. We also notice it was a well used hotel. Needs some newer upgrades but we will go back when we are in that area.

Breakfast was ok location ok. Bed some what comfortable. Nice pillows

Warmer pool water it was very cold. It was supposed to be heated but was very cold. Ice machine on floor was out of order had to go to ground floor for ice.
