Comfort Inn Miramar Beach - Destin

It was very clean

It was raining when we arrived. I don't like the idea that they don't have a canopy you can pull under to unload. I never saw but one of the things you put your luggage and clothes on. And the bathroom fan was awful loud and the rooms are not sound proof.

Location was great. I stayed on the 1st floor and the ceilings were very high with I loved. Basic hotel room but comfortable.

No pool. And I could here my neighbors through the walls. However it was spring break and they were college students so they could have been a little extra loud. Nothing to major to stop me from sleeping.

Room was nice and clean the bed was comfy. The breakfast was great and hot. I didn’t know they come and clean your room everyday that is a plus!

The ac in room could’ve been a little better. The bathtub everytime you took a shower it was super loud like it was gonna fall through the floor. The room had a weird smell when you walked into it. The elevator was super super slow. Also I always Check for bugs when I get to the hotel like bed bugs etc. I Checked the bed everything was clear the last day I checked the bed there was a bed bug which we didn’t sleep on the bed after that we just ended up leaving and that was after housekeeping came in and changed the sheets and cleaned the room. So that’s another thing to keep an eye out for.

I absolutely loved the hospitality from all the staff, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was actually very good! the staff was very quick to answer any and all questions and show us the best ways to get around and get food. the staff was very helpful when we had to leave a day early due to parking issues with our 18 wheeler, they gave us an early departure and also waved the fee. I would 100% stay here again, just in a different vehicle 🤭

it’s not negative by any means, but this location IS NOT big truck friendly. A box truck or a dump truck can get in with no problems, but an 18 wheeler is a no go.

Mark and Jerome made it a memorable stay. They were very friendly, helpful, making sure we were comfortable. They had positive attitudes and good vibes. Made us feel welcome and comfortable. Rooms were clean, updated, comfy beds and soft clean towels. You couldn’t hear the busy traffic from hwy 98. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn in Miramar.

no fitness room or hot tub more options for continental breakfast would be great would be nice if you offered a shuttle to and from airport

We grabbed some orange juice and yogurt at 7 am to head straight to the beach which was a short drive across the street. The location was excellent for the busy July 4th traffic packed weekend. While the room was spacious and clean, I would have appreciated a full length not half length hanging option for long dresses. I loved the fabric shower curtain that I bought one online when I came home. Because it is a beach location with high humidity, I would have installed an energy efficient GreenBreeze bathroom vent in the bathroom. The price $340 was very high for a Comfort Inn. It was a high season holiday weekend and you are paying for the location.

Lack of closet to hang full length clothing. We were next to the Housekeeping room and you could hear the door constantly banging close.

The bathroom was clean. I believe the guy's name is Mark but he was nice and I appreciated the fact that he made sure everyone enjoyed breakfast as much as one could..

The room was small no true closet space and there was a smell of urine in the carpet. The housekeeping staff were not that friendly..

It was clean and easy to find, it was right off the highway. The night time gentleman was friendly and quick to check us in. Bed was comfy and I loved the darkening shade. If I was there for a longer stay it would have been just as nice. I love the tiled floor when you enter, especially since it is a beach town and this makes it easier to keep clean and not muck up the carpet as fast with salt water and sand. Every hotel should have this even if not in a beach town.

Not that I didn't like it but the shower water pressure is lower than I have at home but the water was clean and hot so I was okay with that. I booked a king on the site I used but they only had 2 queens available when I arrived. For my purposes, it was fine and no reason to blame the man behind the counter. My guess is it was a timing issue between when I started booking and when it finalized as the website did say only 1 left. Overall these are NOT reasons to lower the rating in my opinion. It was a value hotel that was worth the money.

The hotel staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The fact that the hotel was in a convenient location to the stores and restaurants was a great benefit to our stay. I had a wonderful time in Destin.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The elevator door took at while to open is probably the only thing I noticed that could be improved.

The unlocked back door near my room on the first floor. I felt that was unsafe as anyone had access because it was always semi propped open. No key card needed to enter and the traffic at all hours was plentiful and noisy. Other than that my stay and staff were excellent! I was in the last room 117 on the end of the hall and it was loud in and out of that back door.
