Hampton Inn Winter Haven

it was clean and the staff was friendly. Free hot breakfast was good. They had make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice’s & fruit. Rooms were nice & updated. Mini Fridge and coffeemaker in the room. Close to a lot of different restaurants and right across from a Walmart shopping center. All within walking distance. it was less then a 5 min drive to Lego Land. Vending machines on each floor and the prices were average not overpriced.

Great value for money, very close to Walmart and other shops, and only a 5-minute drive to Legoland.

Breakfast is served until 10 AM, but one day we went down to get food at 9:45, and the staff was already clearing everything. I asked why, as the closing time was supposed to be at 10 AM, and the attendant responded in a very rude manner, saying it was closed and the food had run out.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. There was construction going on and it didn't look open. Once inside everything was great. There are several restaurants adjacent to the hotel. It was very convenient.

The hotel is a little hard to find it is next to another hotel which is was you can see from the street. There was a hand painted sign to direct us to the lobby. With all of the scaffolding, it was a little confusing.

Every single staff member we interacted with was exceptionally kind and helpful during our stay from 12/29-12/31/22. My son loved the different treats they had for guests in the evening.

There was a large cobweb up in the corner of our room and the pressure from the sink faucet needed to be fixed, but otherwise everything was great and clean

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great! We enjoyed the pool every day we were there. The staff was friendly. The staff took great care of our items even they cleaned the room - even my daughter’s stuffed animals were neatly placed in the bed.

I really appreciated the room location; I asked for a disabled room near the elevator and that is exactly what I got. The room has pull out wire racks for storage which made accessing items vary easy. I also appreciated the pool which was nice and the temp comfortable. The breakfast was a great bonus with a wide variety - the scrambled eggs, which I truthfully was expecting them to be chalking, were really good. I was tickled pink to see blueberry waffle batter.

I was really, really hoping for bacon on the breakfast bar; there was pork patties (very good) and maple sausage along with turkey sausage links (both not recommended). The microwaves were located in the lobby if you needed to heat anything up.

I reserved 2 rooms. One room was great. The other not so great. The room had bugs crawling on the floor and cigarette smoke smell coming from the Room next door. My daughter was scratched in the face by a feather quill sticking out of her pillow and had a reaction. The cigarette smoke was effecting my granddaughter due to asthma. At check out I praised one room and complained about the other. The man who checked me out asked me what I wanted him to do about it (not sarcastic) I did not know what my options were. He said you tell me. I told him I did not feel that I should pay for that room. He said ok. Said he took it off. I still have that charge on my account. To good to be true. Other than that. Hampton Inn is our go to hotel. Never had any problems

Awesome place, my son loved the room and breakfast so delicious. The cooker always filling everything on the bar. Nice family environment. Night time so peaceful. Just 4 miles (12min.) from LEGOLAND. A lot places to eat, Wal-Mart, publix near. Is very good. Iron and table , beautiful 😍 .

The location was back off the street, right behind two restaurants, almost difficult to see from main road but very very quiet. Hotel and room were both spotless. Looked new and was very clean. Beds and liinens were very nice and very comfortable! Quality bath/beauty supplies furnished in the bathroom.

Water pressure was weak in shower. Breakfast was supposed to be included but not mentioned, it could have been cancelled due to current Covid-19 issues. Front desk person could have been more welcoming and easier to understand due to wearing a mask and behind the glass partition.

the staff is amazing!!! the rooms were clean and spacious for our family!! the breakfast was delicious, the potatoes were my favorite!!

we like to keep our room tidy but don’t necessarily need room service so bigger garbage cans throughout the hotel would be a plus so that we don’t have bags and boxes of garbage, ie take out containers, soda boxes, etc.
