Lake Roy Beach Inn - Winter Haven

After reading some bad reviews, I was a little nervous up until our arrival. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had booked 2 "2 bedroom apartments" (303 and 304) for 4 individuals. The rooms were very clean and recently updated. The balcony views of the lake were beautiful. With plenty of patio furniture for 4 people. The 2 bedroom apartments are 2 bedrooms with a door separating them. One has the balcony and 1 is at the front door. There is a small refrigerator, a microwave and small sink that make up a kitchenette. I would definitely recommend this establishment

We were disappointed with the sheets on the beds. Im not sure what the material is but my husband thinks it may be paper towels. Lol! Being so close to a busy road did make the front tile walkway on the second floor pretty dirty, so if you are barefooted you will be washing your feet a lot!

Great outdoor patio overlooking the lake to watch sunsets. Clean rooms. very customer service friendly.

Older 60s/70s kitschy-style building. could use updating inside, plus tired exterior door locks and door frames need refresh. we had two different rooms. One room was older and dated and wall to neighbors was paper thin but excellent shower pressure. Other room was more updated but had trickle shower pressure.

I enjoyed the quietness I enjoyed the back porch that's connected to the suite I enjoyed the convenient location and the staff were very nice

I think the suite is a little expensive for the room to have outdated furniture and small TVs outdated pictures outdated comforter sets other than that the staff are very nice they have great customer service it's very quiet here so I was able to rest overall I enjoyed my stay I just wish that it could have been a little under $150 a day maybe 125 that sounds reasonable

The price per night was good. I liked the outside pool and beach area. The room was decent.

I feel the could put curtains especially on the side that sun comes up so if the customer still wants it dark during the day to sleep. They can open curtains instead of having the sun coming in at daylight.

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a townhome which was very spacious with king size bedroom and a full size bed upstairs, and two full size beds downstairs, full kitchen, two bathrooms and two oversized decks looking over the pool and the lake. The rooms were spacious and clean, a/c works great and keeps you cool at night. Direct access to the pool from the ground floor deck, both decks have built in screens, so no mosquitoes. Great alternative to the lego land hotel and only 7 min drive from the lego land park.

that we could launch our boats right there at the hotel , the pool was nice and super close to legoland

kind of old and outdated , it was hot in the room when we arrived and the fridge wasn’t cold but they turned it all back on once we checked in and it didn’t take long to get the room and fridge back cold

The hotel has an incredible location, surrounded by restaurants, shopping malls, and retail stores. The bedrooms are very comfortable, with an extraordinary lake view, and ample. The pool outside, close to the lake, is stunning.

Amenities. It would be an excellent idea to have extras in the room for late arrivals.

We stayed in the suite and was impressed. The room was clean and had lots of room. Very pretty right on the water. It had its own little patio and was right next to the pool. It had a big fridge and stove to cook with.

The only thing was the pool could have been skimmed for bugs.

I loved the fact that it had a kitchen that I could use and pots n pans as well. But loved the view of the lake....even saw an alligator (small) swimming. Saw ducks...... BUT I loved the screen porch!

Property was in a great location really enjoyed the lake being in a tranquil place owners were great hotel was good for cost of stay some reviews put doubts about the rooms but they are well kept for the lay out pool was great scenery was amazing would definitely stay there again

Needs more attention while rooms are being cleaned couple of rooms had items left by prior guests not a deal breaker but needs to be addressed
