Budget Motel

For a continental breakfast it was good. The room was above what we expected. The staff was outstanding in helpfulness and friendliness. The room had a lot of lights. The air conditioner was the best and quiet during the night. The bed was very comfortable, so much so I did not want to get out of it.

Having a channel guide in the room would be helpful for folks who are not tech savvy and know how to figure out how to find a program to watch or even the guide on what channels are available.

Breakfast was as expected. Basically grab and go. We love the strong shower and hot hot water. Very comfortable bed and we were able to get a king. Which is nice for us. Hubby is 6’6” and most places we have to get two queens to be comfortable. Room was clean. Love having a refrigerator and microwave.

Motel is near a freeway and we had a freeway side room. Not much to be done about that. If there were vending machines we didn’t find them. The clerk at check in was tired and it showed.

The continental breakfast was fine. The room was clean and there were no interruptions during the night.

When we parked our vehicle near our room, there was a man sitting outside his room which was next to ours who was drinking alcohol. As we unloaded the vehicle he made "friendly" remarks. When we returned from dinner he was passed out. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I slept with a loaded pistol by my bed and a chair at the front door. We had no incidence with him but didn't appreciate his "friendliness." We understand you are not responsible for your guest's choices but . . . We were two ladies traveling alone. Perhaps we should have asked for another room but we wondered if this would have triggered the man into an incident.

It's a good place and my room was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. I was not really bothered and actually got a lot done during my stay. I had everything i needed in the room. For the most part, the staff was pleasant and easy to work with.

I only had one issue but one afternoon a staff member got a little confrontive when it simply was not calked for. It smoothed over quickly but it happened when I wasn't feeling well so was not appreciated. The rest of my interactions with staff were fine

I like the room and its very nice. It's mostly quiet although it's getting a little noisier. It's also well lit. I have been traveling a while and experiencing vision problems from poor motel lighting. Room lighting here is better than average. I need a bathtub for pain control in my hip and back so that has been good here. I like privacy because I needed (still do) a lot of rest while I take care of some business. Last night was more difficult with more people. I like to be away from other people or at least not be bothered by them. I also like the downstairs room which is easier for me with my bags. The location is good here too. A small breakfast is also very nice. Staff has been friendly and helpful too

Mostly all has been well. Only thing would be increased noise from other people as of last night but that fluctuates in a hotel. I have another day here.

I like almost everything: 1. Adequate lighting so I do not have strained eyes 2. Bed is very comfortable and good on my bad back 3. I have a bathtub which I use as pain control for a bad hip/back 4. Quiet and private 5. Bathtub has a good, solid bar on it that was helpful 6. Location is central to businesses 7. Good strong internet as some of my business has been online 8. Friendly, helpful staff I have been unhappy trying to find work which is the purpose of my travels but my time here gave me hope and I'm smiling again. Thank you Budget Motel

Nothing really was bad. I am here another day

It was clean. It had a good bathtub which I always like. It had a nicer than usual refrigerator. It had a nice chair to stretch out in. I was not disturbed that evening. I did like the soap in containers instead of an open bar.

Icicles were long and sharp and dropping off randomly (and were pretty large). In the morning ice was all over by my car and I had to walk way out of my way to avoid falling. (The housekeeper did put down some towels for me over the ice) The lighting was very poor in the room which does really bother my eyes. The walls seemed very thin. I heard a lot of people coughing and wondered if I was exposed to Covid? The housekeeper encouraged me to leave before checkout. I don't like that because after a long trip Im so very tired - 11 am is too early as it is

There were six of us, in three rooms. We just needed clean rooms, with comfortable beds, at a very affordable price. We didn’t want to pay for a bunch of frills we didn’t need. We just wanted a basic room. This fit the bill very well. Located in good area of town, near Denney’s and a Best Western.

Nothing really. Room has a microwave and fridge. No iron. Bathroom is small, but how much room do you really need for a bathroom?

I chose to eat breakfast at restaurant next door. This hotel is apparently owned by the same folks who own the Best Western 100 yards away. They have some common facilities available to patrons of this motel. It was quiet and comfortable overall. Man-sized toilet was a plus also.

There was a lack of easily available plug-ins for my laptop and cell phone. I had to dig behind the credenza to find a useable plug. There was no table on which to do the computer work so I had to hunch over the laptop at the low credenza.

The Hotel was a nice clean place to stop for the night. Being right off the freeway was nice and it was quiet. It was also close to restaurants

Our first room that was assigned to us hadn't been cleaned yet. We were given a different room without any problems. The person at the front desk could have been friendlier. The maintenance guy was awesome.
