DoubleTree by Hilton Bloomington

The King Suite we stayed in was truly beautiful. The Bathroom was incredible, the kitchen area was great, the living area was spacious, and the bedroom had double doors to close off from the living space if needed. Very nice option!

The room definitely hasn't been deep cleaned in a while. There were a few places that had dust piles on the floor and the lamp was broken. Also, the lighting in the larger living space was lacking. After dark there was no way to have a bright workspace unless you brought your own extra lighting.

no cleaning service , no designated area for dogs to play or place to do their business , no coffee in my room due to no cleaning services , I went up front to get coffee by desk and because of hotel catering to the wedding parties no coffee had been made for the non wedding visitors. very disappointed, I stayed in a very expensive room I expected better service .

I was put on the 1st floor, which was fine, but it was homecoming weekend and there was a wedding in the hotel, so one night there was loud music (repeated Guns N Roses) for 30 mins. Not a huge deal and I could have switched rooms, but was too tired. I turned on my white noise machine and put on headphones. Otherwise, suggest not staying on the 1st floor near the lobby.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. They check in with you via text and you can ask for supplies, etc. That feature is honestly 100% worth paying more for a hotel! Loved it.

The light to turn left from Veterans took 8 minutes. Call the City of Bloomington to get that fixed.

Staff was friendly. Rooms are clean. Warm cookies daily. Very convenient location to restaurants and shopping.

Our room wasn't cleaned daily. Wasn't informed that we would have to ask for that service if we wanted the room cleaned daily.

That there was no housekeeping done for the second day. We should have been told that if we wanted housekeeping( bed made, fresh towels, baskets emptied) that we had to ask for it the day ahead. We were extremely disappointed about this.

Exceptional front desk staff. Very nice king suite. Breakfast was very good.

Hallways and general outline of building and hallways is a bit confusing and overwhelming. It is not clearly stated on phones in rooms for how to contact the front desk.

It was really clean and the staff were great while we stayed there and I received my deposit back the same day!!

What I didn’t like was after we checked out I was charged $4 for the two bottles of water that were in the room. So when I noticed the charge I called and he said they were labeled and it was a tray stating that and it/they were not. He also stated that it was sent to me in the disclosure, it was not. So after calling back he stated he would refund it, never did and he hung up in my face. Very rude!!!

A truly normal stop. The facilities are a bit dated and suffer because the franchise restaurant was closed. Generally clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast was "normal." The attending staff was outstanding. BTW, I am a hard grader.
