Quality Inn & Suites Dixon near I-88

Waffles were good. There needs to be an option of two queen beds that have rooms that have the other amenities such as microwave and refrigerator. The sofa bed and the regular beds are not comfy. But we did like the room.

The food was not very high-quality. The eggs were like powder, sausages were full of grease, yogurt was not good. There needs to be two waffle makers in a different area so that you don’t have one long line of waffle people and people that are trying to fill their plate with the food that you were blocking. Breakfast area needs an update and to change the flow of traffic.There needs to be an option of two queen beds that have rooms that have the other amenities such as microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast was ample and delicious; Lisa is a great manager. Room was big and comfortable, AC worked perfectly, bed was firm the way I like it, TV was fine (there were 2 of them in the suite), and shower was easy to use with good water temperature and pressure.

Lighting for reading in bed was too dim, pillows were bizarre and uncomfortable, toiletries were minimal. Slippers would have been helpful. Also, although the staff is very nice, they forgot to give us the wake-up call we had requested.

Really enjoy staying here. They have a pretty good breakfast (although I was missing the biscuits and gravy this time!) and staff is very friendly. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Dixon.

There really wasn't anything that I didn't like about the stay.

bathtub was stop up, house keeping knocked on my door twice after I told I don’t check until 12:00. supervisor did not put on my paper that I was staying till 12 o’clock and the lady that check you in call my room and asked me what time was I leaving and I told her that I have a late check out which she did apologize.

The comfort of the rooms. And the bar soap in the bathtub left my skin so soft. Housekeeping was great.

Due to COVID, the hot breakfast was not up and running and that was not mentioned on the website. However, they did have "Grab and Go" bags with breakfast type foods and a bottle of water which did come in handy. They also were not providing traditional housekeeping services but they came everyday and took all of our trash, dirty towels, etc. which was just what we needed. I have stayed in this facility many times over the last 20 years and I can tell the new owners have painted put in new carpet, etc. Traveling with small children, the pool was a great draw. The water was 'heated' and for this Grandma, was perfect for swimming with my Grandchildren. Since my Illinois Family lives in the Dixon area, we will be staying here again. I recommend this Quality Inn for sure.

This hotel was clean. We slept well. Thanks to Bianca for supplying us with an extra blanket and pillow. We liked the overall design inside the hotel. Historical decorations and exhibits were very interesting. We definitely will stay again if in the area! Thank you!

Breakfast was good! A little bit crowded. Room was sizeable. I liked the bathroom, closet, dresser, fridge and microwave. Really useful while traveling and staying a couple days.

Check in vs where we stayed was quite the hike. It was also much more expensive than I anticipated it being.

Convenient to the interstate and downtown

Morning staff was extremely rude when my spouse was in the breakfast area 20 minutes before closing and made them leave.

my blankets were dirty. I had to wipe everything down in my room because it was dusty and the hot tub wasn’t hot.

The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, and the area was nice overall.

The breakfast eggs were not good. When we got to breakfast there was not a lot of food left.
