Motel 6-Elk Grove Village, IL - O'Hare

It was superb value for money given the proximity to the airport and the length of stay (one night for an overnight layover and a very early start the next day). It was spotless too and there was so much space in the room for luggage and stretching out/walking around (much needed after a long haul flight and before another). The employee who helped with check-in was very friendly too (thanks Lashonda!).

It's not the closest hotel to the airport so the Lyft was more expensive than what we had planned for. Still, it is within 15 minutes (max), so time-wise, it's near, just the cost of a taxi might be higher than expected.

I was very skeptical on this one because the location was kind of sketchy, and we can all agree that motels aren't always a good option. I was very happy with this motel though. VERY CLEAN, which was number one for me. Workers were Hispanics which was also a bonus for me, because my boyfriend and I are Hispanic and although I speak fluently in English he does not. Don't over think on this place, decently priced too!

Employees very helpful and dedicated. I need to leave my baggage before check in time and cause they don’t provide a baggage room or locker, they offered me an early check in.

Some lamps were not working in the room and the neighborhood was not apparently much safe to walk around alone after dusk.

Staff was amazing in every way! They're kind and do their best to accommodate you.

I wish it was closer to the city of Rosemont. I paid 15$ every day to get there by Lyft. And the bedrooms need microwaves instead of the lobby. After being on my feet for many hours. I still had to trek down the hall to cook food. And it would get cold very quickly. So I'd have to stop eating. Unless I wanted to take a second trip down the hall.

I loved that the room was clean but I'm head over heels over the bathtub 🛀. It was awesome my whole body was submerged and that's what a REAL bath is all about. I went to a $100+ HOTEL months ago and the tub was a toy tub the room was raggedy and the furniture was literally damaged also no food service available...but they did have a microwave and a fridge available in the room.

There was no microwave to heat my food. Usually microwaves are available to rooms especially since alot of hotels/motels shut down serving food.

Quick check-in. Tidy, cozy and big room. Very nice staff. Bus stop near the motel. No air port noise. I was happy there and I felt really safe.

Nothing around neither grocery. There's probably no kitchen or something like that. I could not find any. But Subway is close to the motel and you can order food via Uber Eats.

DULCE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. My friend and I came in early on the day we were trying to get in, the receptionist, Olga, wasn’t that helpful, but it wasn’t too big of a problem. She kept telling us they were super booked and there were no rooms available yet, but DULCE helped us out and told us she could have a room ready for us in a couple hours as opposed to many hours before ready. I really want to thank her for her exceptional hospitality. Loved how spacious the double bed room was, how simple it was and the cleanliness was on point.

The water smells like chlorine and with the spout, it comes out and splashes everywhere, but other than that SMALL thing it was fine. The location was annoying though. There’s literally nothing around but a Dunkin’ Donuts and a Subway 😭

The room had everything a person needed for someone who was just using it to sleep. The price was my main reason for choosing.

The t.v. picture was off, personally I didn't matter to me, I didn't go to the hotel to watch t.v. They say they offered complimentary breakfast but all they had was coffee, only coffee is not breakfast..

the top sheet was never changed... the white linen was clean...we had one issue with the people above us one night and that was it. the plumbing is poor when flushing the toilet and no shampoo for the hair

The bed was uncomfortable and my back went out because of that. Its too hard and it happened to me before in that same room and I didn't realize it until I paid for an extra day. Hate the bed itself...too hard but everything else was pleasant as usual. Definitely would prefer a different room next time.
