SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Chicago Lombard

A relative moved to the area 7 years ago to attend medical school, then 3 years ago, after graduating, began a Residency in Family Medicine. We have traveled to the area to visit them on numerous occasions and this is my 5th time staying at SureStay Plus. The facility is somewhat basic, but clean and comfortable and, most importantly, the staff have always been helpful, courteous, professional and pleasant. And, with advanced planning, I have always been pleased with the rates I have found. It's also located quite close to my relatives small apartment.

Nothing. SureStay Plus hotel has always met my lodging needs during my visits with the relative who lives nearby.

We were in town for my daughter's graduation from Midwestern and booked several rooms. Pros: The customer service was impeccable! The beds were ultra-comfy. The rooms were clean. Breakfast options were more than we expected and offered a slight variation each day--pastries, toast/bagels/English muffins, yogurt, eggs/bacon&sausage, biscuits&gravy, waffle machine, and cereals. Since we were a large group of about 20 people, we utilized the lounge/breakfast area to gather in the mornings and evenings--this was a great space to socialize, play games, and share meals. Budget-friendly!! Highly recommend the SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Chicago Lombard--we couldn't be happier with our choice!

Overall experience was great. This is our go to place to stay when I have to go into the city of Chicago for medical procedures. Only 25 minutes to the City...Very quiet, clean and comfortable and the staff is wonderful. They do have hot breakfast items offered and there are plenty of restaurants near by. Easy on and off the expressway as well.

The only thing I would have to say is they need better pillows or just add a few more on the bed. The pillows are quite small and not very comfortable, otherwise everything else was great.

This was the most recent of many stays at this hotel. It is THE place I stay every time I travel to and from Michigan. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, check-in is quick, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, breakfast is great, and the price is right.

Some parking spots are somewhat hidden behind bushes and trees and seems less safe to park at with a nice car. Property is a little tricky to get to, but once you figure it out, it's easy.

Check-in was warm and welcoming, check-out the same. Staff was exceptional across the board. Other hotels could learn from SureStay Lombard. Breakfast was not elaborate but more than adequate in taste and service: fresh breads, fruits, eggs, savory sausages, REAL orange juice, brewed coffee. A plus: The breakfast hostess was charming. Lobby and reception areas are gorgeous. Location convenient to surrounding attractions and to my family. It was very quiet even though the hotel was full of guests attending graduations. There was a late-night celebratory gathering in the guest lounge area off the lobby but once in my room 3 doors down, I couldn't hear a thing. Great experience, great value!

Downside: Rooms were a bit worn and dated. I'll be back to see if the room renovations follow the lobby, lounge and breakfast area upgrades. I'll be back even if they don't. Upside: The room was extremely clean and the king-sized bed put me to sleep immediately. An upgrade in room finishes would be great, but there is nothing to improve upon the cleanliness, friendliness and value.

I liked the cleanliness and family friendly environment. I have become a repeat customer and have stayed there four times in the last two months.

During my last stay I was given an adjoining room. People checked in that room very late in the night and were very loud. It was not the hotels fault though. Next time I will let the staff know not to give me the adjoining room.

Coffee table in room was badly worn, there was no microwave in the room, the bathroom light kept turning on after you leave it which can be fixed. Since maintenance left for the day, they offered to move us but we said we would just close the door. The breakfast was ok but the sausage gravy was watered down and eggs were super dry.

The atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant immediately upon entering the lobby. The breakfast was very good and nicely organized. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

The only thing that would have been more helpful, would be directional signs helping to enter and exit the parking lot, and identifying street names. It was confusing getting in and out because the hotel is set within a complex of buildings.

Nice staff. Breakfast good, incl. cereal w. milk Great location. No noise from roads (in my room 326 at least, facing parking lot. Spacy room! w. good bed.

The elevator sounded like an MR scanner (loud) - but since it's only a few floors in the building, it's a minor concern. Ice machine 3rd floor not working, but the one on 2nd floor was.

Great place and location. Lombard is a nice area. Mall is a 2 min drive or 5 min walk away. Room was nice and clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. Bathroom was very nice and modern and the sensor light switches are very cool ! Plenty of amenities too. Highly recommend over similar priced places

Nothing at all. For the price this place beats so many others!
