Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago North Shore - Niles, an IHG Hotel

Such an amazing time we had. The stuff is really kind and helping. The bed is super comfortable and big. The view was gorgeous, the window was huge- I watched sunrise early in the morning and I didn’t expect it to be so bright and colorful. The swimming pool is nice a bit small, but there are no people for most of the time so I was enjoining myself and swimming. The gym is also small but has everything what you need for training. Breakfast was amazing!! They have a pancake machine which is really cool. I would add more vegetables cause there are only unhealthy options (eggs only). They have bread, toaster, cereals, potato, egg with cheese, coffee, tea etc. Hall is very wholesome and cozy. And location is perfect. It’s easy to get to the airport (will take 30-40 mins only). The bus-stop is really close and the schedule is correct. Overall, for this price it’s more than enough. Thank you!

Very nice hotel! Great location! Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice fitness room, with good hours. Great place for family gatherings with the conference room availability. Overall great experience.

The pool hours were very limited, so we were unable to find the time to go swimming and experience these amenties. Otherwise, everything was great - would definitely stay here again when visiting the Chicago area.

staff was wonderful, the location is really great especially if you have a car, I’m relieved to find a property that doesn’t have to attach a fee for me to park there. Their breakfast selection was awesome, so much variety available to eat, they even had a pancake printer that just blew my mind how cool it was

I don’t know what was going on with the fridge in the room but by the time we checked in and got settled in the room, there was a pool of water on the base of it and inside everything was soaking wet, I had told the front desk person downstairs about it and they were so nice and offered to change rooms, but I was too lazy to want to go through all the trouble to do that, so I asked for a set of towels instead, and just mopped it up. it was a strange experience, but it didn’t dampen our experience, pun not intended. I wonder if maybe the last guest just spilled some water or left some ice cubes in the fridge versus the freezer causing the water. it’s quite alright, I’m a big boy and can clean up a water puddle just fine.

I liked absolutely everything.The hotel and the room are clean, no foreign smells, good bed, comfortable. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, sausages, yogurt, milk, pancakes, juice, coffee, egg, bread. Everything is delicious.We were lucky. Even the church is within walking distance!

Convenient location. Very courteous and professional staff. Comfortable and clean facility.

Pool closed due to pandemic restrictions. Not the fault of the hotel or staff. Just disappointed.

We stayed here for RiotFest. It is right across the street from a Pulse bus stop and made getting into the city so easy. The free parking and affordability is what dragged us in, but the phenomenal staff is what would make us come back. From check in to check out they were beyond accommodating. And to top it off, the breakfast was delicious, different every day, and the variety was awesome! If you want to visit Chicago, but not stay directly in the city, I recommend this place!!

Good and quiet location, close to the airport with plenty of parking. Clean and tidy rooms, staff helpful, all in all as expected for this hotel rating

For me, coming from Europe, breakfast offerings are complete disaster but, based on experience with other hotels , this is how it goes in the US. It wasn't any worse than other similar hotel there, just something that people from other parts of the world may find terrible.

All around excellent experience... the staff were supremely helpful with a smile at all times, the location is super convenient (close to groceries/supermarkets and fast foods) and the prices paid for each night was worth it. Free parking and decent breakfast were definitely the other highlights of the stay.

The room was surprisingly dry for summer. We had family staying in 3 different rooms and everyone complained about the rooms being extra dry.May be something to look into for future.

New hotel, so it is still clean. The room was spacieous and decorated in modern style. The bed sheets soft and clean. The bathroom was clean. The internet was quick, which is not common in most of hotels. The total price for the hotel to the comfort value comparison, I will give 9 points.

I did not find anything to cpmplain about this hotel if you consider good price for the room.

Staff was extremely friendly. They accommodated our unusual check out time. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were clean. Far enough away from Chicago that we felt safe but not so far that we could only go into town once a day. Gorgeous area with plenty of sights to explore.

The room had a slightly unpleasant smell when we first arrived. The outlets were extremely loose so my phone would not charge at any convenient outlet near my bed.
