Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago North Shore

Were very happy to see our room was cleaned, beds made and towels refreshed while we were out, it's the first time we've had that without request since the beginning of the pandemic and it was very much appreciated. Everything was very clean and worked well, the staff was friendly and helpful! The breakfast was good, but a couple more hot food options would have been better.

The lock on the pool room door was malfunctioning, the app didn't work to open it and we noticed that guests with key cards were unable to open it either.

The room was nicely furnished and absolutely spotless. Easy to sleep at night with dark shades on the window and extreme quietness. Breakfast was awesome and the dining area was way above average. All the staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. This was our third stay at this hotel and we will definitely be staying here again.

Just one tiny thing: The cheapy see-thru toilet tissue has to go. A nice hotel at this price should be spending a few cents more per roll on some decent toilet paper.

The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was great with many choices. The front desk staff was helpful. The location worked well for attendance at a family event in the area.

The room was a bit dark as there were no ceiling lights in the living room portion of the queen suite. It would have been helpful if there had been a notice in the room that daily housekeeping had to be requested. We requested it twice but it was only done once.

The location is central to where we needed to be. It’s easy to find. The access to coffee and water was convenient. Staff was friendly. Our room was spacious.

There is not enough personal service for a hotel. We ran out of toilet paper and had to pick it up from the front desk. There should at least be an extra roll in the room. Maid service should be every two or three days. Five is ridiculous.

We loved its amenities and the convenience of its location for us to visit Chicago. We also loved that it had suites styled like mini apartments. Extremely helpful for us.

The only thing we didn’t necessarily care for was the breakfast selection but we understand that feeding a large amount of people is a lot. Also, at night. The bedrooms don’t have a fan and the blankets will definitely keep you warm.

Clean room. Being able to watch what I wanted to watch on my Roku. Very, very comfortable bed. The bathroom was nice, and clean. My hotel room felt nice and safe. Having a mini fridge was great. Oh, and having very excellent wi-fi connection

Mainly the breakfast. Wish there had been more of a variety like pancakes. The temperature in my room at times felt a little way too cool at times. Even when turning off the fan. Wish there had been more variety of channels on the cable television. Oh, and the treats and drinks were pretty pricey. That's about it

The breakfast is amazing. The room was very clean. When we come to Chicago we always come here. The only down side is when it rains the parking lot does flood. And boy does it flood

There is nothing I don't like about this hampton inn. We always come back

Breakfast was robust and I like that they changed the menu. The room was clean and they gave us whatever items we needed. They also provided my wife with a fan which she appreciated

Only recommendation for the room would be more outlets to plug things into.

I want to say Andrew at the desk goes above and beyond. He always remembers me when I come in and offers services your hotel provides. He is always so friendly, and makes sure my previous stay was satisfactory. I love coming to this hotel because the entire staff is friendly and asks if I need anything. I use the hotel once a week to except my busy life as a mom when my ex comes over to watch the kids. I love that I feel like I’m on vacation when I’m just up the street! Always an amazing experience.

Every time I stay at this hotel and see Andrew at the front he always makes me feel so welcome, he greets me with a smile, welcomes me back, asks how work is etc. I never feel like I’m just a number in line, he makes sure to personalize his chats with everyone. Being that I’m in sales and customer service this really means a lot to me. The hotel is always so clean and beautiful that I don’t mind spending the extra money to stay here verse a cheaper hotel. Thank you for making me feel like I’m on vacation once a week!
