Best Western Circus City Inn

It met my needs for food..

Fiirst couple of days, housekeeping staff did an excellent job of turning the room. Replacing towels, emptying trash receptacles, setting up the beds… i always left tip on the pillow for the housekeeper. I really appreciated them.. Unfortunately one day after returning from a business meeting, i entered my room to find it wasn’t serviced, went to another meeting returned and it still wasnt serviced. For two days i had to go to the front desk to ask for towels so i could shower.. I did speak to the front desk about this. He was very pleasant, professional and apologized on behalf of Best Western.. I calmly spoke about my experince, so I truly appreciated his reply and professionalism..

Everyone at hotel was very nice. And room was clean.

The breakfast, I went down at 8:30 and not much left to eat. No meat, not even a small spoon of potatoes, and maybe a spoon full of eggs. Young lady told a guest that only half hour left till breakfast was over and wasn't putting any more out. I believe their was an hour left, and she should of put more out to eat. When you have a lot of guest in hotel, you should make sure there is enough food for guest. I worked at an hotel for years and we always made sure that our guests had food to eat.

Very capable breakfast--tough to do the warm fuzzies like making waffles etc during COVID, but very good overall. Room very up to date, very comfortable bed. Wish we could have used the pool, but we arrived a little late after 11 hours of bicycling USBR-35. Peru, IN used to be the wintering ground for a number of Midwest traveling circuses, and they have a nice lobby decoration reflecting that. Wished I had more time to poke around town for that slice of history.

Meh, not much to not like. We arrived by bike, and this hotel is just a few miles off the "Nickel Plate Trail", a beautifully done recent Rail-Trail conversion. But the road back into town (Peru)---not so friendly on a bicycle.

Our room was clean and tidy. The check in staff (Justin) was very friendly and called us by name. A hot breakfast was offered in the morning.

There was noise outside all night long from another facility. The people upstairs from us weren't very considerate during the late night / early morning hours. When we arrived, the window in the room was unlocked. Had I not checked it, anyone could have entered the room (back side of the bldg) while we were away and taken our things.

Central location to school reunion activities.

All was well until someone (possibly drunk) tried to push into the room about 4:45 am, thinking I was someone else. Thank heavens the chain was on, because I closed the door, then a minute or two later they tried again. Not fun, especially at that hour.

Comfy beds, nice breakfast and friendly staff.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was very quiet.

Breakfast was ok but could have had more choices. Biscuits and gravy would have been nice.

I thought the breakfast burritos were yummy! And the yogurt machine! Nice display and variety! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating!

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Room was awesome. Staff was super friendly and loved the spa tub. Breakfast was well organized. Well worth the money for a comfortable stay.
