The whole package. The hotel, the room, the breakfast. There wasn't anything not to like. Everywhere was clean and tidy. It was decorated with a hunting lodge theme... all things wildlife. And someone certainly had an eye for detail. Really nicely done. We had a deluxe 2 bed room. It also had the wildlife theme decor. Room had a large tapestry upholstered armchair that was really comfy, and a work desk and chair. The bathroom was average size, but tastefully decorated. Had lovely soft white towels. There was a good fixed shower over bath Breakfast was very good. Variety of cereals, breads, cakes, boiled eggs, hot sausages, yogurts and fresh fruit. Also usual drinks and coffee/tea. Room also had fridge, microwave, TV, coffee/tea maker, iron and ironing board. This was a smashing little hotel and it was a pleasure to stay here.

Room had everything we needed. The breakfast was perfect for us. Our room was clean and so was the rest of the place

For just us two adults and the reasons we were in the area it was great. Wishing there was a recliner in the room instead of an over stuffed chair but thats us. My hubby is a recliner guy.

Let us check in early so we could change for wedding we were attending. Willing to move our rooms closer to each other.

Room smelled like it had previously been a smoking room when we first went into it. Blow dryer in bathroom would only work for short amount of time then shut off.

We loved everything about this place. The employees were very kind and very helpful. The furniture was amazing. It was the old rustic wood. They moved our friends to a room right next to us without hesitation and didn’t even charge us extra. I would 💯 stay here again in a heartbeat and I actually plan to soon.

There was honestly nothing that I didn’t like, the only thing I wish it would have had was a pool. But I will stay here 100 times over without a pool.

Breakfast, though not fancy, offered adequate choices. Everything was fresh and tasted good. The staff was helpful. Our room was comfortable and quiet.

Breakfast was very good. Sausages were a little greasy, though. Would recommend putting paper towels in crock pot to help absorb.

Wish there was an elevator, but I know that's probably hard to retrofit in. However, if my parents were travelling with us, we would have not been able to stay.

We liked the fact that they allowed us to check in very early but we did not require the room until that evening. They directed us to a good restaurant close by.

Small Iowa town was a perfect place to stay to sightsee Northeast Iowa. Restaurants not far and gas station right across the street.

They served a very light breakfast of cereal, toast/bagel, boiled eggs and other prepackaged rolls, muffins, granola bars. Would have liked to see a better bigger option for the weekend mornings.

There was a nice variety of hot and cold foods and beverages for breakfast.

The place for hanging clothes is small. In some rooms the hanging bar is in a corner above an upholstered chair. The wooden slats do not completely block the light out of the room.
