Hotel Bentley

The rooms were a little small but immaculate. The parking was very close. I really like staying in unique hotels not the cookie-cutter cinder block creations off the interstate. Bentley is certainly not that. The bath accessories were very nice. The free waters were appreciated.

The TV did not have premium channels. The fridge was set a little too cold and froze my drinks. The folks in the next room were occasionally a little loud.

I loved the original historic decor. It felt as though you were stepping back in time. Lunch in the downstairs restaurant was delicious. Staff throughout—front desk, cleaning, and restaurant—was very friendly and accommodating. The ballroom, being decorated for a wedding, was lovely.

Parts of the property seemed to have seen better days. Particularly on the main level, some areas were closed. The front desk seemed rather makeshift.

We stopped at the restaurant for dessert and drinks (for the parents) before heading to bed. The desserts were AMAZING!!! My husband and kids are also big on history so they loved the little sprinklings of historical pieces around the hotel! The beignets were amazing!

That I couldn't get breakfast beignets at 645 am before we left! Lol - more a personal problem than a hotel issue. Should have taken some to go from dinner!

My wife grew up in a nearby town. During her high school years, The Bentley was always closed. We’ve been married going on 5yrs and every single time we visit her family nearby we stay at The Bentley. She loves this hotel so much! Everything from the beautiful architecture, to the mirror lounge downstairs for drinks,and can’t forget the on site restaurant with delicious, mouthwatering Louisiana favorites! The Bentley makes visiting the In Laws a wonderful experience!!

We came because my daughter had a dance in Pineville and the pictures online were so pretty. We got amazing photos! It was very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast at the restaurant the next morning and it was AMAZING.

The only thing I didn’t like was that our TV volume wouldn’t turn down.

Room was very nice, lots of space. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We arrived for late check-in and could have used more signage to guide me to lobby. I know it is not the hotels responsibility, however people walking around and watching me unload my car for check-in made me feel uncomfortable. I had NO issues at all with my stay and would stay again, Hotel has lots of history.

For me, the main draw is the historical nature of the property. I love old hotels with a feeling of history and age. This hotel has that in spades. The staff was friendly and the rooms were simple, and comfortable.

Maybe make the mini-fridges a little bigger. It was hard to fit everything.

The hotel is beautiful and clean! Definitely enjoyed this stay. This is a huge hotel with beautiful details in the lobby area and other places in the hotel. The only tiny issue that we had was that our toilet was clogged upon arrival and we could not reach anyone at the front desk. The front desk person was missing so we were able to find a plunger from one of the downstairs bathrooms, waited for someone to return to the front desk where they told us we could use the plunger and thought it was funny that we were walking back to our room with it. We don’t mind stuff like that and found the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

It would be nice to have a maintenance or housekeeping # handy in the rooms in case the front desk staff cannot answer or have to leave for an errand. Or a back up staff that could help with the front desk person with calls and guest issues.

I love history so staying in a property like the Bentley was an incredible treat. The room was modern, but you could feel the history and it was awesome knowing that I am now part of that history too. The lobby was elegant. Will definitely be returning.

Parking was a little tricky. Maybe Booking.com could have them explain where there is public parking.

We ate dinner in the restaurant and the service was friendly and food was very good. The bar associated with hotel is a plus.

A wedding rehearsal and the wedding the next evening took up most of the lobby.
