Candlewood Suites - Baton Rouge - College Drive, an IHG Hotel

Size of room, onsite parking, close to my granddaughter's house, friendly and helpful staff, convenience of food cupboard.

At first, we were not happy with the cleanliness of the floor and lack of some bath products. When we mentioned this at the front desk, housekeeping went to the room, scrubbed the floors, gave us extra towels/washcloths and filled the bath products. This was a positive step! It would be nice to have a hotel book with TV station information, how to work the ice maker in the refrigerator and where to find available dishes and glasses in the room. When we arrived, we had to keep calling the front desk to figure everything out.

The beds were SUPER comfortable! Slept great! the location was great as well. Close to the restaurants and interstate access!

The refrigerator was very noisy. woke my daughter up; she was terrified. she thought someone was trying to get into the room at 2am.

Really comfy beds, good toiletry products, full refrigerator and working stovetop, good dishes, wonderful towels, and face/hand towels. Great hospitality upon check-in (Nick). Safe, convenient parking. Great location right off the freeway. Easy access to other good restaurants and services.

There is nothing that I do not like. I stay here every week when I come into town for work. I have stayed at other places but this one is the best for business and personal travel. It has everything you could need.

Quiet location off the Interstate. Nice large rooms with good facilities. Pet friendly. Near good restaurants and Trader Joe's and Tesla Supercharger.

A little pricey for what you get. But I suppose near LSU they can charge a bit more...location, location, location.

The hotel is clean, convenient, and is great for an un-fancy, need a place to stay kind of experience. It is not an upscale hotel for a romantic get-away, or for a special occasion. If you need to stay somewhere clean and nice, feel secure, and are looking for value, this is perfect. The staff was amazingly kind and helpful with my requests.

Morning coffee offered for free - but the machine was broken! :-(( The parking lot was full during my visit - full of trucks and extra-large vehicles. I believe it was due to Hurricane Laura displacing people from Lake Charles - these might have been utilities workers - but it was a bit off-putting being a woman traveling alone who had to park away and walk to the hotel.

The pillows they were 2 soft no neck support .. I’ll definitely stay again I’ll just bring my own pillows

the area of the hotel. the fresh smell. the staff was very courteous and helpful, It was in an area close to resturants and convient stores .

There was a lot of noise late at night and early in the mornings. But otherwise the visit was great and I would stay there again.

Pet friendly, comfy bed, fast elevator, free laundry facilities, very affordable suite w/ kitchen & all necessities.
