The hotel was clean, and the staff was very helpful. Since it is kind of remote, the lounge was a great option to have. The king suite had a full refrigerator and a stove top, so we could've made a meal had we prepared ahead or needed to. Breakfast was available in the morning. Eggs, sausage and potatoes. There was also cereal, yogurt, muffins, milk and juice. Coffee too of course. Sounds like a great place to stay long term or if you're fishing!

It would've been nice if they had a salad option or something not fried, for late night options. But, I was thankful there was an option.

Beautiful place, large rooms, friendly staff, peaceful atmosphere. We visit Louisiana often. This was by far the best hotel ever!! And child friendly. I will definitely be returning.

The variety for breakfast could have been better, but I am a picky person. But, I could have made my own with the great kitchenette.

It's a great location to access all of the great birding spots in Cameron parish, including Peveto Woods and the coast. The beds were comfortable, A/C worked well, and it was a nice simple breakfast in the morning before heading out. My go-to place to stay in Cameron.

The location is perfect. One of, if not the, best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Wonderful place to stay

We brought our boat, and needed to charge it over night. We could not find an outlet that works on the outside of the building

We have stayed here multiple times and the staff is always friendly. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast is always great!

Elevator is noisy and you can hear the “ding” if you are staying in a room close to it.

The hotel was in a convenient location to stop off on our road trip. The room was comfy and had plenty of space for 4 of us. Staff were friendly.

Breakfast was basic although the options could have been a little better.

This is an oasis in the middle of nowhere. Much of the area has sustained substantial hurricane damage from Laura, and then Zeta. The hotel has been redone. The rooms are huge and have everything you need. It was very comfortable. The safe was helpful and friendly.

This was a great hotel, in the middle of nowhere, and a nowhere that has been heavily damaged by a weather disaster. I didn't like that there seemed to be no safeguards against covid. No one wore a mask, and didn't social distance. As pleasant as the staff were, I found this very disconcerting. Like I was back in a pre-covid world, way back in february. I was surprised at how odd I found the non-mask wearing. There was a party going on in the bar the night I was there. There was hot food served buffet style for breakfast. I never saw any sanitizer. Personally I am glad I had this experience. Covid has consumed so much, but there are other struggles out there, other tragedies. Just keep in mind, it is different in many ways.

The breakfast was awsome, and the staff was the nicest I have ever dealt with as far as hotels, and I stay at a lot or them all over...

The bed was very comfortable. The layout of the room was nice.

The water in the tub took quite awhile to get hot.
