Wingate by Wyndham Houma

Breakfast was good. Had to go to the lobby to eat breakfast. One day had a sausage biscuits and never had them again. Coffee was hot and fresh. Didn't have much to chose from. No low carb. Nothing really for diabetics to choose from.

1. One side of the bed was too close to the air conditioner and had to turn sideways to get into bed or crawl on the bed. 2. Was charged a fee that was not told about until we seen the charge in our bank statement. When we called about it, they called it "incidential." A fee of $60.00 was charged which was refund we checked out. This charge or fee should be told upfront before charging to the credit card. They explained the charge as for room service, or things we might charged to the room. This is a service we do not use and therefore should not have been charged this fee.

I would like to recognize the front desk agent at check-in. He made sure I had breakfast for the following morning by giving it to me after checking in. I had mentioned that I would be checking out before breakfast was served the next morning. He went above and beyond to provide customer service. I thank him and I thank you for such employees.

The breakfast was good and the location was good.

When we checked out the person checking us out told us we could have gotten a cheaper rate than what we paid by calling you direct. Little did he know we had already tried that avenue.

The service was outstanding. Check-in was quick easy and pleasant. Rooms are totally updated and cozy. Our specific room was quiet and the temperature was consistent. Definitely will be staying again for every crew change. DID I MENTION GREAT PRICE!!!!!

Tub is smaller than the average in my opinion but still very doable.

It was clean and centrally located to stores and restaurants.

Upon checking in tub stopper broken , maintenance didn't repair, staff moved us to another room that afternoon. We did like that the staff moved us that afternoon.

Hotel was in a great location. Close to mall, restaurants, gas and movie theater.

I wish breakfast had hot grits, eggs and bacon or sausage. The only thing hot was the waffles. That was the only disappointment.

All of the staff were great, especially Thomas.

We were extremely pleased with the rooms. The were very clean and updated. The overall hotel is very nice. We would definitely return.

A little noise from the hotel being close to highway.

Great staff, modern look, comfortable bed, pillow.

Cable went out, treadmills not setup or functioning. Bad physical fitness center.Needs immediate attention!

Thomas and Tika were exceptional hosts! Friendly and approachable! They did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible!
