La Quinta by Wyndham Boutte

What a cute, funky little room! Fabulous high ceilings with an arch between the sleeping space and the sitting room. Interesting NOLA-inspired art on the walls. Bright lighting in the bathroom. Nice to have a couch and a table with chair (not a desk). Breakfast was better than average, a mix of hot and cold foods.

I was allllll the way down the hall on the first floor, and the wifi worked well enough to send an email, but not well enough to videochat with my family. May have been the time of day I was there, but the traffic was insane (due to construction, maybe?). The hotel sits on a divided highway, so you spend a lot of time making U-turns and back tracking. Not particularly convenient to FQ or Mid-City NOLA, somewhat more convenient to Kenner/airport.

The pool & pool area were always kept so clean. The breakfast was great, had just what we needed. Staff was always friendly.

The only thing I could say was that the pool was only open 11a-8pm. Our last night there we did see people in a little later so we went to hang out, but not for long. Longer pool times would be nice.

The location was perfect. Close to family. Loved the pet friendly option as that lacks many places these days. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was nice but the waffle maker was a bit of a pain and didn’t work very well. Excellent price.

The waffle maker at the breakfast station didn’t heat the waffles enough and they stuck to the cast iron.

At the check in the representative could not find the second room I booked days ago, and I had to pay extra to book another room. The next morning I received a message saying that the second room was cancelled because my colleague didn't show up ( he was there with me at the check in). Nobody apologized or offered to refund the difference in cost between the two rooms.

The staff is wonderful... the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Jackson square photo in my face as soon as I open my eyes.... I’d like to not wake up to a picture of monument like Jackson square. It’s time to upgrade. I’d like to see a real hero honored. He is not!!

Very easy to access, close to major Highways. Large comfortable room. Front desk James was super friendly and easy to talk to, nice young man. All front desk attendees were great, smiled when spoken to and very welcoming.

Housekeeping could step up game; had to request coffee replacement, didn't replenish bathroom amenities 1day and mirror wasn't cleaned of splashes from previous day.

The building was clean and well stocked.

Still advertising breakfast was included in the room rate. There was no breakfast due to COVID-19 I guess. But the hotel we stayed at in New Orleans before coming here had breakfast the whole time we were there. Probably should stop advertising breakfast if you are not going to have it. In our room in 302 the lights kept going in an out. The TV was so far from the bed and was small so we had to strain to see the TV guide. Other than those minor issues, everything about our stay was great!

The La Quinta in boutte, room #326 the maid was in my room with daughter. I don't appreciate that, made me feel like A privacy breach so had to put the do not disturb.sign out.

good modern looking, good breakfast items, affordable, good location and amenities.

more breakfast items such as bacon, bagels, yogurt, etc.

It has been updated since our last stay was very modern and new looking. The staff, and owner, were amazing! The beds were very comfortable,

I can't think of anything that I didn't like, except no hot breakfast, but I realize this is no fault of the hotel's.
