Super 8 by Wyndham Havre De Grace Aberdeen Area

It was very good for the price. It was clean, very friendly staff. It was what I was looking for. No frills, just a place to rest, sleep and be close to what I wanted to do. People should know there is no elevator. The town of Havre De Grace was exceptionally clean. I hope this message goes thru, because I made a mistake in my first review by saying I was near Annapolis which was wrong.

They needed a grab bar on the outside of the tub. There was a bar inside the tub but that did not help to get out. Also they could use a mirror outside the bathroom, this way someone can be putting on makeup or doing their hair while someone else is using the bathroom.

The room was fine. No real complaints. It was not a very expensive room so I was not expecting the Ritz, and everything was great. No issues. Brenda was super nice, and I really enjoyed meeting her. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Port Deposit.

This is no fault of the motel's at all but what I was not aware of was the expensive bridge toll that is literally up the road and in the direction of where we needed to be. Again, this is not their fault but my only gripe would be the location. It would not stop me from staying there again. At least next time I know what to expect.

Very nice spread for breakfast. Everyone - both guess and staff were very friendly. Check in and out was easy and very quick. Location to Hollywood Casino was superb. The facility is smack between Royal Farms and WaWa. Although you heard children playing as we walked the halls, it was surprisingly very quiet and peaceful. This is a smoke free establishment. Th towels and the wash cloths were seemingly top of the line - so thick and fluffy!

There is no elevator for those of you who cannot do stairs. The furnishings such as comforters need more attention. One of the blankets had cigarette burn holes although this is a smoke free establishment. The bathrooms need attention to detail on the chrome features and toilet base. Need more parking.

Staff was very pleasant and gave us ALL the information we needed upon checking. Though it's not a Marriott, it certainly provided us with everything we needed, including a very nicely and Covid-sensatively prepared Grab and Go breakfast. Everything was clean and comfortable was the best $77 room we've found. It was also close to US 95 as well. P.S. we noted that they took heed to previous comments regarding smokey smell in the hallways... that was replaced by some commercial strength freshner they'reusing to get rid of that. You've got to give credit to a business who listens to their clientele!

THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE, LOVED THE PICTURES ON THE WALL ABOVE THE BEDS, BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE. BATHROOM WAS NICE SIZE. LOCATION WAS GREAT. WE WERE CLOSE TO EVERYTHING.

WE WERE IN A NON SMOKING ROOM & HALLWAY BUT IT REEKED OF CIGARETTE SMELL. WAS NOT A GOOD THING IF PEOPLE WERE SMOKING IN THAT AREA SINCE WE HAD OXYGEN BOTTLES IN OUR ROOM. WE DID OVERHEAR ANOTHER CUSTOMER COMPLIANING ABOUT IT .

Staff was pleasant, helpful when asked. Check in and checkout were no problem.

Breakfast was sketchy compared to similarily priced chains. Coffee machine in room didn't work.

Carpets in the room and hallways were very clean. Well maintained hotel. Looked updated. Felt safe in the area.

Breakfast offered was ok.. not much of a selection. But was clean and individually packaged.

I honestly couldn’t find anything that I was not happy with 

The manager was great! He apologized for having only a 3rd floor room available - I’m 85 - so he carried our bags up to the room and when I asked about the location of the ice machine he insisted on getting the ice for us immediately.

The room was on the small side, but for a modestly priced room it was fine.
