Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Chesterfield - Selfridge Area, an IHG Hotel

Everything was clean and walking into the room, even smelled clean. I am not sure what it was or where it was coming from but it definitely smells fresh and fruity. Everything from the bathroom fixtures and bedroom furnishings have been newly updated with a modern flare. Breakfast was great with cheese omelettes and sausages with an array of other foods to choose from! All staff we encountered from the front desk, to the breakfast attendant were very friendly and courteous.

We were gone from the time we checked in until late in the evening, however, tv channel choices are very slim, unless you went there to do some home shopping because more than half of the channels were shopping channels. Very small tv package for such a luxurious hotel.

The staff where friendly and extremly helpful. They definitely when over and above what I would expect from hotel staff. The room was big and it had black blind that allowed me to recover from my long trip (and my last hotel).

The room did need some repairs from damage but nothing that was overly concerning.

Breakfast selection was great. The front-desk staff were great. The breakfast staff person was great on Saturday morning but a different staff person on Sunday morning was awful. She shut down the food ahead of time, many people didn't get enough to eat and her attitude was terrible most of the time.

location was perfect for our trip to fish St Clair . They supplied a huge hot breakfast . The room were clean and very comfortable.

just a suggestion. The property knows they cater to fisherman . possible add a few more exterior electric outlets for charging batteries overnight?

I liked how friendly and helpful the staff were and breakfast was great just wish they had some type of potato but its ok it was all still so good

well the room I booked online was no the room I got. I was suppose to have a king size suit with jacuzzi tub but instead we got a king suit stander room

Breakfast was wonderful lots of selections area was very clean..Staff helpful when needed...Room was very comfortable and clean Dove products available for hygiene l...would definitely stay again

I like the location

I did not like the service provided by front desk clerk. The clerk seemed unwilling and unable to help with a concern I had about my ability to check in prior to check in time. I would have appreciated an attempt to help as I traveled from far away for my visit.

close to freeway and had a lot of food places near by

walls are pretty thin, could hear alot of foot traffic. I was right across from the workout room and pool so that didn’t help and there were ants in my room.

The location was great, everything and anything is close by. The coffee was the best coffee I’ve had in awhile. The staff was very friendly.

the property is close to a lot of good things, Walmart, culvers, and was a great place to stay for a wedding in Casco.

the only thing I didn’t like was the short breakfast availability(6:30-9:30) I guess it’s pretty typical timing but we had just barely missed it.
