Hampton Inn & Suites Detroit Sterling Heights

The Bed was amazing! Best mattress in a mid level hotel. The room size was very good. Very clean room. Kitchenette was very convenient. Location is everything and we really liked the restaurants and shopping that were within walking distance. Really didn't hear other guests even though I knew it was a packed night. The pool is ok. Breakfast is ok.

Upon check-in, the desk clerk chastised us in advance for even thinking about breaking pool rules. And shared, by the way, he's resigning. Narrow bathroom, closet door had to be propped shut. Breakfast was not anything special. Sausage was boiled, eggs were overcooked, and don't drink the coffee. Even the complimentary lobby coffee, I went without, and I am a serious coffee drinker.

Literally everything was SUPERB except the breakfast.

Unfortunately, I found breakfast to be inedible. Egg pancakes were way overdone. Sausage was like leather and couldn’t actually be cut with the plastic knife…had to use my pocketknife. But too tough for my old teeth anyway. Potatoes were raw. Again I couldn’t chew thru them. If there weren’t waffles available to make, I wouldn’t have had anything I could chew to eat. Haven’t really ever seen breakfast at a hotel quite like this. And I travel a lot! 1st time I left no tip for the cook. It just was not in keeping with the superb quality of everything else in the hotel.

Breakfast was very good and pool was nice.

Our air conditioner had an issue but we adjusted. Hopefully they just replace it. Also breakfast could use a 2nd waffle iron as that station gets pretty busy.

The breakfast was made fresh every day it was a variety of food to choose from. The hours that breakfast was available was very reasonable

The price I was given when I booked on your site-bookings.com was $656.10 but then when I got to the hotel and I gave them my name and everything they ended up charging me $729 you did send me a link through my email and I did submit the form showing you that I was charged to the $729 like you asked for and you said you would reimburse me the difference

we booked through booking.com and prepaid with requirements there’d be no cancellation on our part. $$381..99 was immediately taken from our bank account. When we arrived, we were charged $43.44 more than we already paid. The front desk said Booking.com card didn’t work at the hotel. Other folks had the same problem the previous day. So Booking.com owes us the difference of $43.44, or we won’t be using them again 😡

Room was good and breakfast was ok too! Kids just didn't get to go swimming!

They didn't honor the price quote through book it! I was charged more money when I got there, has never happened to me before!

Friendly staff. Everything was clean. This was the best Hampton I've stayed at in MI (we've been to 5 different ones all over the state).

The pool closing at 8 was a bummer.

Hampton's always come through for me. I am loyal to this brand because of the protein rich breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and they've never let us down and I travel A LOT.

When I arrived I had a discount through booking.com and that discount wasn’t applied to my stay so I had to pay full price. Happy with the hotel. But not happy with booking.com

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff members were so nice. Beds were very comfortable.

The outlets were a little outdated and our chargers didn’t fit in them, kept falling out of the wall.
