Lakeside Resort & Conference Center

We loved the fact this is only and hour from home, and it’s easy to find. The water park is small but perfect for our kids (5,8,10–the older two being pretty timid) the hot tub was big and great for being able to keep an eye on them while they got a little freedom because the place was so relaxed and wasn’t overcrowded. The room we had was awesome three bunk beds and two queen beds which gave me sleep! Sleep when in a hotel is a unicorn happening. Kids loved all of the experience. Oh! And they have waffle makers in the breakfast area which were a great touch! The kids made and ate theirs with glee. They also had a good choice of other items too—yogurt, cereal,bagels, muffins, juices, and coffee.

The pool area could have been power washed-the walls had dirt and rust and showed their age but, this didn’t ruin our fun.

Good Selection for breakfast, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, variety of things to do at the arcade and water park. Loved the water park selections since they had a water slide, splash pad area, pool, lazy river, kiddie hot tub (warm water), and an adult hot tub (hot water).

The amount of chlorine in the water had all three of my kids break out in a rash and two of my kids develop a barking cough. Thankfully I had cough drops and benadryl in my car's glove box, so I was able to give them the antihistamine to clear up the rash and take care of most of the cough and then cough drops to sooth their throats in order for them to enjoy the next day at the water park.

Location, Location, Location!!! This property has a Breathtaking view, extremely polite staff, and several amenities as well!! However, they should consider bicycle, fishing pole, kayak, and jet ski rentals too.

A few of the Amenities were Not available. Therefore, I think the price should be adjusted accordingly. Some Others needed some maintenance or total upgrades.

The room was a good size. Breakfast area was very well kept and stocked.

We got a family suite and the bunk beds were on the verge of dangerous. Old and unstable. We put our lightest person on the top. The room was not worth hundreds of dollars a night. There is never anyone at the front desk. The cobwebs and bugs on the outside need cleaned. Our room is reserved for 8 guests but they only give you 6 swimming bands. You have to pay 15/person extra. I already paid 400 for the room!

Our room was spacious and clean, with all of the usual amenities plus a really nice couch. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of options. The pool, water slide, lazy river and jacuzzi were very clean and a lot of fun!

The tissue box in our room was empty when we arrived, but they quickly got us a new box and all was well.

We were disappointed with food from bar/restaurant for price. Water park water is not clean, grandsons had goggles filled with bandaids, hair ties, actual poop in water more than one place and water was just murky with particles, not nice and clean. 😢 All tubes were flat but 1. Black sludge up by slide top.

Also...vending machines were out or stuck. Video games, put money in and just didn't work. We did enjoy out room and breakfast. 😊And staff was super nice. 👍🏼

I’ve never been to a lake so big, other than Lake Michigan. To be honest the view was what made the trip for me and my girlfriend. The restaurant was actually really nice as well

The spa tub was dirty. Also our bathroom had dirty shower curtains.

Room was nice. Staff was accommodating. Asked for first floor room and got it.

The restaurant seemed overpriced for the meal we got and then extra charges for things like a little extra salad dressing. No manager on duty. Was frustrating experience. Continental breakfast was weak. Everything around food service seemed like it was geared towards you going elsewhere.

On the water so we could go fishing. Right next to the boat launch so we didn't have to go far to put our boat in.

The information in the room said the pool/Waterpark was open until 11 and we decided to go swimming at 10, they already closed the pool/Waterpark so we never got to enjoy that. The restaurant inside the hotel doesn't serve room service. Fitness center was closed. It was pretty dirty everywhere and the excuse is low staffed yet I saw the workers outside on smoke breaks almost every hour and for 15 min or more.

The pool was awesome! Our granddaughter was on the water slide almost the whole time we were there. The restaurant was very good. The staff was Great, very friendly and helpful.

We had a dbl queen room, one bed was very soft, but the other one was just right.
