Super 8 by Wyndham Grayling

Excellent location for spending days at Higgins Lake and doing day trips to Grayling/Mio. Breakfast offers enough variety - many healthier options. Loved that they accommodated our request for a first floor room; being able to look out on the woods and open the windows and enjoy the fresh air in warm weather is great! Staff was very friendly.

Wish they offered an easy chair. I realize it is one more thing to maintain - but the desk chair is not comfortable for the days I had to work in the room and it would be nice to have two chairs when there are two guests. Toilet posed some issues (pipes leaked) but they fixed it when we put in a maintenance request - tended to run unless you jiggled the handle.

The hotel was clean, well decorated and the staff was especially helpful. The bed was very comfortable and I want to know where you get those little square pillows

The toilet was an issue. It wouldn’t flush and if I sat down on it, it tipped dramatically to the side. I had to go out and use the lobby toilet. I reported it to the desk clerk who said she would get maintenance on it but that toilet didn’t just suddenly start having issues.

Comfortable bed and nice size room. Enjoyed the nice pool and hot tub along with the continental breakfast.

The room and had a few holes in the wall and there were some missing ceilijng tiles on the main floor which was a bit tacky and the rooms/ carpet is very outdated.

Clean, comfortable beds, temperature was comfortable. TV worked. WIFI worked. Good housekeeping. Breakfast was continental and adequate. Coffee provided all day downstairs. It met our needs adequately. Friendly staff and good value for the price.

The toilet sits very low and the bathroom and toilet area were quite small.

Well maintained facility with a full breakfast. Did not partake in the breakfast, because the area was crowded. Location was near the interstate. A good stop to take care of one's four S's

Though near the Interstate, it was difficult to physically locate because of the lack of street lights. Also, though near the Interstate, not many dining options near the facility. Had to drive three miles on the Interstate to have dinner and buy beer, and the nearest Walmart wias a 30 minute drive on the Interstate.

The pool and hot tub were clean, rooms clean, staff was friendly. It's an older building, but everything seemed to work.

Nothing really. I did have the thought that "I wish I had a microwave in my room", just because I'm lazy. I'm pretty sure they had one in the breakfast area I could use, so it wasn't an issue. Already booked for next weekend.

What breakfast? A granola bar is not breakfast and should not be included as such on any website

The front desk clerk with the long blonde hair is not helpful at all. she never smiled once and Seemed bothered by asking any questions at all.

Location/easy access to interstate; breakfast choices, quiet, beautiful view of the woods, very clean.

Bathroom facilities need maintenance - slow drains in bath/shower and room sink; had to reattach the chain on toilet to get it to flush - that needs attention, too

Pleasant place to stay; breakfast more comprehensive than some Super 8s that we have stayed at; room and facility were clean; enjoy the view of the woods; easy to access from the interstate; close to Higgins Lake. Being able to check in at 2 pm is nice as well.

Bed was comfortable, First night washing machine woke us up in the middle of the night. Staff was accommodating and moved us away from the laundry room for the second night. Hot tub was great

Breakfast selection not the best. Spouse is gluten free. Nothing for her at the breakfast.
