Days Inn by Wyndham Marquette

The location is great, right on 41 and you can easily head in any direction. The size of the rooms were fine, perfect for 2 people and a dog. The staff was so friendly. I did not go to breakfast but my husband did mention that they had a good selection of hot and cold breakfast items. We never did go into the spa area as we were busy but I did like the fact that from 10pm until midnight the Spa area was just for adults. I also really liked the soundproofing. Traveling with a dog, its hard sometimes when they hear everything for them not to bark. The only thing you could hear is the neighbors doors and sometimes their toilet flushing. But no room noise, no talking. Did not even hear the neighbors dog barking

Parking was kind of a hassle and looked like there was not enough of it. And a tinsy tiny issue was that the TV seemed like it kept skipping every few seconds. Other than that, this is probably the best property I have stayed in Marquette

We had suites and the rooms were big, the one had had sitting area which was nice. The staff were great and helpful with information on the fireworks for the 4th of July. Breakfast had a variety and was well stocked. The pool was great! Everyone enjoyed their food at the restaurant next door and you get 10% off. My grandchildren loved the playground when it wasn't raining. The fridges were a good size Everyone said rhis was their favorite hotel out of the 10 or so we have stsyed at the past weeks.

The beds were probably the least comfortable I have slept on while on this road trip of several hotels, back ache both mornings we were there. The mattresses are very firm. No matter how low we turned the refrigerators in both our rooms, some of the food kept freezing which ruined the produce. We got two suites, so our rooms were quite far apart. If doing it again, I would make sure to request the two across the hall from each other or get just one suite with a regular room next to it. The grandchildren sometimes made a lot of noise when going from one room to the other, would have been easier to contain if the rooms were closer.

Nice Breakfast, Nice rooms, Nice and bright clean quite heat/ac all good...The Staff was very nice and willing to help

I would have made everything great but we had three rooms and the tv was horrible in all three.. Outdated remotes did not work well and the screen would momentarily freeze just long enough to sound like sound froze then played on but it did this no stop for three days. My son thought the cable may have been loose on the back and got a shock trying to tighten it. The place is really nice and would love to stay again but TV's need to e fixed... And lastly you may have the worst parking lot ever... Just my opinion. The Staff made up for it all Bonus there.

Breakfast was fine, simple but good enough to start the day. Location of the hotel was great. Easy to get where we wanted to go. The staff was absolutely amazing, so helpful!

There is nothing we did not like. Our first stay at this particular hotel was this past August. Now when visiting Marquette, this is our go to establishment.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. We bring our dog and they give out the cutest doggy bag with all kinds of dog friendly restaurants. The only noise you can hear is people slamming doors but other than that it is really quiet which is good for the dog.

After two nights the bed does get a bit too uncomfortable as it is hard

I missed the main timeframe of the breakfast, but I was able to grab a cup of coffee. I liked the size, layout & cleanliness of the room. I liked the central location of the hotel.

The ice build-up was a bit dangerous in the parking lot, would have liked to have seen it addressed with more sand/salt near the sidewalk/side door entry.

We are obsessed with the pool room! A heated pool, family hot tub that’s warm instead of hot, then another room for the “adult hot tub,” and a sauna room. We will definitely make this our go-to hotel when traveling through the UP!

n/a, we loved it! But if you are fussy about everything in your hotel being SUPER updated, then you may find a “problem” with the hallways.

it is very clean - from the lobby to the room. You can see the cleaning efforts of the people there Good Location - visiting the area Friendly staff - everyone (counter, breakfast, housekeeping…) there is friendly and seems happy. Makes the stay real pleasant. Breakfast staff was always present and alert and replenish food/coffee very quickly The small play structure outside

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, able to answer every question that we had.. The check-in was easy. The staff helped us with understanding the best way in and out, especially since we had a dog with us.

It may be a standard, but we were a little disappointed that the pet policy did not allow for us to leave the hotel without our dog, even if we had a kennel. We understand the reason for this rule, especially because dogs can bark, etc., but it really limits what we can and cannot do while in the area if we have our dog. Also, although they did provide a list of restaurants that had patios, the list was not comprehensive nor was it entirely accurate.

Nice comfortable hotel with good room and bathroom size. Mini fridge and microwave and decent beds. Located on main highway but room was quiet with no road noise.

Free breakfast could have been a little better as the only hot items where waffles and oatmeal.
