Superior Stay Hotel

This hotel was extremely clean. We appreciated the extra niceness of the amenities. (Good coffee, excellent toiletries, extra nice breakfast.) We were very, very impressed with the breakfast area and the breakfast itself. We normally stay at Hilton hotels but this far exceeded a Hilton breakfast. Very clean breakfast area and the local pastries were amazing. I would have loved to have known what brand of coffee they served. Yes, I am a coffee snob, LOL, and I loved it!

We were confused about where to enter the building. At first, we were very apprehensive because it looked like an old apartment building from the outside. The outside isn't very inviting. It didn't affect our stay but made us almost change our mind!

Great quality for an amazing price! I wish I stayed at more hotels like the Superior Hotel! It's a cheaper rate but you get a very nice room and great service. My sink was clogged, so I texted their service line and they fixed it right away.

I wish the gym had more to offer and that the main doors would be on the side of the building where the parking lot was vs on the street It got hot at night, even with the fan on and the window open. So if there was an option to always have the actual a/c (or heat) always blowing that would be amazing

The rooms were large, clean, and the hotel are extremely accommodating. Everything that we asked for and then some, they provided. They even did a price match, which was amazing. The breakfast is also very good. You have your choice of hot fresh pancakes, baked goods from the local bakery, fruit, coffee, water, milk, tea, chocolate milk, orange juice, hot cocoa. There is also different types of bread for toast. There is a 24 hour coffee/tea/Hot Cocoa bar on the main floor. For those of you interested in keeping in shape, there is a downstairs sauna, and workout room. Good location; it is next to a gas station and near food. It is not far from the Marquette lighthouse. it's a wonderful stay for a good price. Don't underrate this place by the name.

Location, price, amenities. We are active outdoors and we love that we can store our bikes in the shed. Also the rooms are not carpeted which makes it so much nicer. CLEAN! Wonderful breakfast. Walkable to great restaurants. Short drive downtown. Directly across from NMU sports complex. Just a block away from Wonderful biking/walking path along Lk Superior !

If you have arthritis as I do, The shower is difficult to engage

The breakfast was amazing, probably one of the best we have had at a hotel in quite some time. The staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and newly remodeled. Would highly recommend staying here!

The shades are not the best especially being on the first floor and facing the parking lot. You could see in and out. The television kept shutting off and we were unable to watch it longer than maybe 5 minutes.

Very clean. Keurig coffee machine in the room. Luxurious towels one would expect in a higher priced hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - automatic pancake machine was great - bagels, croissants and blueberry fritters were fresh from a local bakery - not pre-packaged as in some chain hotels. Fruit cups were brand name (Dole) and delicious. Lots of fresh fruit as well. All in all a wonderful experience.

Clean, good breakfast and location.

They state that they only clean rooms if requested which we like but they did enter our room when we were away. We noticed new shampoo which we didn't need but they did nothing else. I'd prefer they just not enter. To get also opened the door with NO knocking and prior to checkout. We were still in the room and in the bathroom no less. They NEED to wait until we check out!

It was very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. It was everything I would have expected of a room I would have paid 3 times as much for. It just didn't have a great view, which wasn't important to me.

The room door did not have an interior chain lock or door guard. There were screw holes, like a lock had been removed. I simply rolled the office chair in front of the door to alert me in case someone were to enter the room.

We like the cleanliness of the hotel, rooms, and areas. The value for the stay was exceptional. There was ample parking, a delicious breakfast bar with nice seating, and friendly staff. We liked how close it was to the things to do in Marquette. I also enjoyed the Beekman products for the bathroom!

There wasn't anything that we didn't enjoy about our stay at Superior Stay Hotel.

This was my second time staying at the property, and everything was super efficient everything was spotless and the fact that they have Express checkout was fantastic because it allowed us to pack up our stuff and leave without any hassle.

I have nothing negative to say about this property it is our go-to hotel when we have to make trips to Marquette for medical appointments and other business.
