Homewood Suites by Hilton Rochester Mayo Clinic-St. Marys Campus

All staff members with whom we dealt were quite pleasant. The treadmills in the exercise room were on the fritz, so the front desk clerk arranged with the Courtyard Hotel next door for us to use their equipment. Now that's good service! The bed was great, as they usually are in Hilton properties.

Our room appeared to have new carpet, but the furniture was getting rather "long in the tooth," and was pretty dusty around the edges and on some flat surfaces. There was a load of what looked like dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Location is excellent if you need to be near St Mary's hospital. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Price was high, I only stayed because family members were also there. (We are all from out of town/state/country) . I would have chosen a less expense place if not for their preferences, as we did not need to be near the hospital or clinic. Even so, it was a great place, esp if you want to be close to hospital and want a full kitchen.

Room was quite good. It had a good selection of utensials and other items and the dishwasher was definitely a godsend. Also i did think that the pool area was also quite good size wize aswell.

There wasnt much at all i would change really i guess if anything maybe some more stuff to the weight area like maybe deadlift items. Another thing might be maybe an easier entrance for trucks although i know its definitely not that important

I didn't eat the breakfast but the coffee was great! It was a perfect location for pain rehab classes at St Mary's.

The room wasn't the cleanest, bathroom had hair in it and it stunk.

Considering Covid-19 restrictions, the hotel did a great job with breakfast. It's farther down from the Mayo Clinic than other hotels, but there is a free shuttle back in forth with a good schedule to let you know when drop offs and pick ups are. We had no trouble getting to where we needed to be. The bed was really comfortable. The restaurant down below on the main street was excellent and delivered to our room. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

On booking.com and on the website, the hotel offers an airport shuttle. It isn't free and I wasn't expecting it to be. But when I requested information about it on booking.com and by calling the hotel, I was told there wasn't one. When I called the Hilton 800 number, the woman helped me figure out that the shuttle they refer to is the Rochester Shuttle and when I contacted them myself, they were very helpful and on time and dropped us off and picked us up at the hotel.

Upgraded to a suite. Very nice!

Location & the way the building is set up & attached to another building. Very confusing. We didn't know where to go in to check in. Trouble with wifi. $14 parking.

The location, staff and convenience

We understood due to COVID things would be different but we found it unpleasant to try to get the room cleaned and getting towels and supplies. We should have perhaps been given a discount

The hotel is a across the street from St Mary’s Hospital.

Parking cost is $11.00 per day. Our reservation was for 12 days. Booking.com quoted a price of the room and did not include the cost of taxes. It also did not point out the cost of parking. I booked through Booking.com and to my surprise the tax was added and when checking in found out about the parking cost. Be prepared to accept surprises if booking a room through Booking.com. Homewood Suites was excellent but not so much was Booking.com.

Quality/price

The staff was the best part of my stay, always made me feel like family.

A little pricey for my extended stay while I was taking a class through Mayo.
