Rochester Marriott Mayo Clinic Area

The proximity to Mayo Clinic is ideal of this is the purpose of your stay. You can access all the Mayo facilities without stepping outside. You can also access some shopping and restaurants as well via the pedestrian subway. The restaurant Salute! is good, but the staff here is outstanding. My server Linda was an absolute joy. She made what is a very stressful trip, so much more pleasant. She alone is worth the stay here. Thank you Linda for your kindness and compassion.

"Concierge" floor room (floor 8) overlooked the interior atrium which wasn't the greatest. Also, room was a bit stuffy even with the air turned all the way up the room never really cooled down enough for me.

Unfortunately, the restaurant in the hotel has not been re-opened post Covid.

It would be nice to have a functioning restaurant in the hotel. The swimming pool could have been heated.

We had a doctor's appointment early the next morning so we chose this location due to the proximity to the hospital. And we LOVED it! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We booked through Booking.com and check in was fast and easy. Our Valet attendants were super kind and very helpful! Our kiddos really enjoyed the view from our room (faced front of building) and they loved watching all of the people walking on the street below.

Bed could be more comfortable.

The location is excellent. I wasn't told there was a breakfast.

Your bathroom was TEERRIBLE in getting to the stool !!!!! You need to get rid of one sink. Make the closet smaller (noone uses it anyway) and MOVE THE BATHROOM DOOR !!!!! And also, the reason I stayed there was to use your dining room for meals, and it was closed !!! I have a bad knee and had to walk over to the Kahler - that sucked ! Upon checking it, they could not find my room reservation but I DID have a number, I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH reservation on-line booking again !!! And they charged me $14. !!!!!!! And for doing what ? Kids screamig in the background.

The place was fine, but booking.com sucks, you guys are cheats. I’ve used you guys several times but this will be the last. Keep this type of practice up and you’ll be out of business quickly, as you should be.

The location was key. I parked my car once and then didn't see it again until we left. The subway was great -- it took us about five minutes to get from our room to our appointment in the Mayo building. Staff was beyond kind and helpful. Room was clean.

This was the first time when I didn't sleep well at a Marriot -- I tossed and turned and woke up with a sore back. This tells me that the mattress might need replacing. The pool was closed for maintenance which was a bummer for my daughter. We used the gym but it didn't appear to be cleaned in between our uses from 7:00 p.m. one evening and at 10:00 the next morning. And room service was a bit of a disaster. The operator kept connecting me and I was getting disconnected. I only saw one lady doing room service at both hotels and she was doing the best she could, but during these Covid times, I think the hotel needs to ramp up their room service personnel because demand is simply higher.

Location and subway entrance. Comfort of the room. Front desk staff- very friendly and efficient. In room coffee! Cleanliness! Daily housekeeping to the room.

No bar. No restaurant. Did not use the in room dining.

Breakfast was fabulous with excellent service. The dinner was superb with an excellent wine list and wonderful atmosphere. The hotel's connection to the Mayo Clinic was extremely convenient for our clinical appointments.

Great location. It’s attached to a walkway (subway) to the Mayo Clinic. There’s restaurants and shops down there. Across the street kiddie corner is a movie theater.

For some reason the toilet would run every 15-20 minutes, and the air conditioning didn’t work in the room. Even after maintenance came out, the room stayed at 74 degrees.

The location is excellent! Walked to all my appointments at the Mayo!

Pricey. It's hard to be sick, pay bills, flights, hotels!
