Location was great, walking distance to many little places in the downtown area. Breakfast was excellent each morning. The room was very comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating.

only complaint would be that the bar as advertised as an amenity was never opened with anyone manning it. Understandable that it’s a small bed-and-breakfast but I would take that out as an amenity since no one‘s ever in there and it’s not open.

The place has a real and great historic vibe. My kids asked why we were sleeping at a museum, just to put things into perspective :-) Big room with a historic decor. Helpful staff and great location (very central in Natchez and you can get to all places of interest on foot).

The fixtures in the bathroom were tired (the switch for shower/bahtub was literally hanging from the wall of the bathub). The ladies in the breakfast room were not too friendly (by this I don't mean rude, just not the usual South-of-the-US-friendly). The cooked-to-orderd breakfast had limited choice (much more limited for hotel guests than guests from the outside).

Perfect location in town, walking distance to everything! Comfortable and beautiful rooms. Delicious on-site restaurant (Farrah’s). Get the eggplant moussaka and fried halloumi! Service-oriented staff who were attentive to our needs.

Check out time is at 11:00. We finished breakfast after 10:30am and went back to our rooms to gather our things to leave, but our room keys had stopped working. Had to go back downstairs and find someone to get us into our rooms. This glitch needs to be corrected in my opinion.

As we came up to the property the exterior appearance was awesome. The entrance hall was amazing. Locating check in was slightly challenging. The staff was sitting low out of visibility. The display of antique furniture was very nice. The setting of the room was awesome. The window units in the windows were poorly sealed to the point of large opening’s in the windows. With temperatures dropping this was a major problem. We were preparing to check out when we realized why the room was so cold. The breakfast and staff were exceptional.

The room was beautiful! Loved the big bed, big windows, big window treatment! Bathroom had everything we needed. The porch was HUGE! Not much a view from the porch but it was very relaxing.

I had to bring my work computer and the chair was not ideal at the table that was in our the room. I sat on a bunch of pillows, which helped. Luckily I could also sit on the big beautiful porch, right outside our room, while my husband was on a work conference call in our room. The breakfast in the morning had several options. I choose fresh fruit which was not fresh. The strawberries in particular looked like they belonged on a compost heap vs my breakfast plate. We checked in on a Sunday, and were hoping to have dinner at The Guest House. Our friends had stayed a few weeks previous to our trip and raved about their meal. We are hoping that our travels bring us back to Natchez in the future so we can experience dinner at the Guest House.

Everyone was super friendly. Rooms were comfortable and beautiful. The porches were great to sit on during the evening and just relax, have a drink, and visit with family. The restaurant was good. Breakfast that was included was awesome. The courtyard connected to the restaurant and hotel with outdoor seating and fountain was relaxing and comfortable. Housekeeping ladies were on point as well. I'm very happy with the stay. The hotel is within walking distance to almost everything that we wanted to explore. The staff was also helpful with assisting us in finding more interesting things to do or see around town, which was much appreciated.

The only thing that was off putting, but really not that bad was the stairs to the upper rooms. It was quite a few stairs, but it's an old house and to be expected. I got over it easily and they helped us with our luggage.

Great room and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was phenomenal and staff very friendly and helpful.

We were very disappointed to learn Mr Henry was no longer working at the Guest House. He was such a great person and always went the extra mile to ensure the guests were taken care of. He was very personable and such a joy to be around. He truly added to the persona of the Guest House. He was truly missed by us on our last visit.

We got to visit with Sean and Rachel as they passed ownership to the new owners. Our 20 stays with Sean and staff were so nice and we just kept coming back. We did get to meet 2 of the new owners, Joe and Shelia and they were so nice and so excited about their new venture. I know they will probably make changes but I hope the welcome to our second home hospitality remains the same. Melanie and I wish them the best as they take over one of the best run B&B's in the country.

At the Guest House, there is nothing we did not like.

This place was exceptional. Jessica at the front desk was so helpful and nice. Henry, the gentleman who served us breakfast every morning, was just an absolute delight. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do in Natchez. The rooms were fantastic (we had two rooms). We even got a ghost story from the owner. I will stay there every single time I go to Natchez. The breakfast (which is included with your stay) was so good, and just enough without being too heavy. You feel like you are in someone's home, not a hotel.

The only thing I can say I didn't like was what I don't like at every single hotel I stay at. From the huge hotel chains, to the small independent ones, they always skimp on the shower heads.. I know that is not a big deal, and the bottom of the list of expectations, but it is always something I notice. But, that is seriously my only complaint about the hotel, and it's not even about them, but all hotels in general

Beautiful historic mansion, The staff was great. The owners Sean and Rachel were very helpful with information. The room was beautiful, furnished in vintage pieces to keep in step with the house with the added modern convenience if a flat screen TV. Very large bathroom. We were in room 259 and loved it.

Everything was wonderful, although the house is allegedly haunted and we were hoping to meet some ghosts and unfortunately we did not. :)
