Hampton Inn Oxford-West

The breakfast was better than I expected. I thought it was going to just be cereal, yogurt, or other packaged items, but there was warm food. I thought the Western omelette was not going to taste good as I usually don't like the taste of those, but it was good along with the bacon. The oatmeal needs more sugar. I enjoyed the waffles as well and the fact that there was strawberry waffle batter. The location was great as it is in the middle of Jackson Ave meaning it was close to a variety of restaurants and other convenient places. I walked to places I wanted to go. The room was clean and spacious, and I felt limited worry about touching anything (slightly a germaphobe so I like to go over and clean myself). The bed was great, very comfortable. Didn't want to wake up! Very lenient with check-out as I was a little later than 12:00pm. Checkin and checkout with ease and have a space outside to smoke and walk your pets.

I wish they would have brought my items I needed (toothpaste) to my room and not make me walk down to get them. I also wish they offered bathrobes.

breakfast was just ok. the location was great because close to ball fields shopping and restaurants. We can't say enough good things about your people. They were helpful and very kind and helpful. Felt like we were really well taking care of. This was our first time in OXFORD MISSISSIPPI and we enjoyed our stay.

unfortunately, there is mold in the bathroom and carpet was sticky.?

Our shower did not drain, the water stood in the shower. My husband pulled the drain out and there was a huge hairball attached to the drain plug. We told the front desk at checkout. It made the tub slipper and hard to stand in even after it was removed.

The staff was professional but friendly and very personable. Every area of the hotel that I encountered was so clean. Our rooms were clean, fresh and the beds were so comfortable. Ms Carrie put out a breakfast selection that got all of us off to a good start. The location was perfect. A selection of eateries within walking distance.

The room was super comfy and extremely clean! This was close to the University which was where I was working so that was helpful. There were many food options nearby and the breakfast was nice. Having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was great as well as the fluffy clean towels and comfortable bed. The staff was also exceptional!

The moment we walked in.. Best Front Desk Attendee.. He was amazing and knowledgeable of his work. First thing, he offered us water. My husband and I had to go and come back to the hotel.. Every time we passed by the front desk.. He was busy cleaning the lobby, throwing out the trash. Being very productive and getting everything ready for the next shift. We will definitely felt welcomed.

not a heated pool..

The hotel was in a great location - close to everything - within a 10 minute drive for everything we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly and the variety of food at breakfast was great. The hotel was quiet at night and the staff respected the signage we placed on the door.

The heater for the pool was not working during our stay which made the pool water extremely cold. Too cold for us to swim. Also, the photos on the website show a hot tub and there was no hot tub. One of the main reasons i choose this hotel was for the indoor pool and hot tub so that was very disappointing,

The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff best I have seen in a hotel in several years they were all wonderful friendly and very curtious pool was nice and clean and the breakfast and coffee was delicious

Staff didn't take out the trash daily in the room, daily. After downpour there was an odor in room. It was the last night of the stay.

Very nice and clean . Staff was super nice and helpful. We had an issue with our air conditioner in the room , and Naketha had us fixed up and taken care of in just a few minutes . Also the breakfast was delicious!

the price was a little steep
