Grand View Inn & Suites

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. The cookies at check in were delicious, and just the boost I needed as my sugar was getting low. We were very pleased with the whole stay.

We very much liked the location! It was close to all the attractions and within walking distance of the Tanger Outlet. The room was satisfactory since we didn't stay in it for much of the time. I enjoyed the recliner and the bed was super comfortable . Breakfast was very good. The eggs both mornings were cooked just right and the choice of drinks was sufficient. The biscuits, gravy and sausage were excellent. And there was always someone there to see to our needs. I encourage tipping they're that good.

The only downside was the water pressure in the shower. It was not very good.

Fantastic location right off the strip in Branson but not a lot of traffic noise. Considering Tanger Outlets were in close walking distance, that's amazing! Honestly didn't realize it was before 1500 but we were allowed to check in early. The room was very clean and lots of natural light. Beds had wonderfully soft sheets and bathroom towels were soft and white. Lots of hot water and great pressure in the shower.

Didn't realize the bed was a too firm for us til after we woke up stiff in the night but we moved to the other bed and it was much better. The pillows had no give to them. Obviously, these 2 "complaints " are totally personal preferences.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was very good. Need more handicapped parking. Only had one. After a concert, when returning to our room, we found water dripping from the ceiling all above the toilet. Staff did supply towels as replacement after we mopped it up.

There was water dripping into our bathroom from the floor above. We notified the staff and they checked the room above but did not come to our room until we called again. She brought us clean towels and said the maintenance man would check it out in the morning. Felt we should have been compensated for the inconvenience.

Excellent accommodations with a breakfast that was superior.

For a queen bed it was very small. We actually thought it was just a double bed. Asked front desk about it and was told it was the smallest size that could be considered a queen. Same in all queen bed rooms. Would not recommend a queen bed. Beds are hard, not firm. We did sleep good Plastic ware is very flimsy. Would be nice to use a fork and knife that didn’t bend when cutting sausage or biscuits.

The room was very comfortable and Victoria in housekeeping did an excellent job in keeping our room clean an neat. Hot waster is almost instant in the bathroom. The WIFI is excellent. The fresh, hot breakfast was one of the best we've ever experienced in Branson (ready-to-make waffles, fresh scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, fried potatoes, cold cereal, oatmeal, grits, bagels, bread, yogurt, milk, juice & coffee).

The only downside I can think of is the softened water. While showering, I noticed that the water is "over-softened". This produces a "slimy" feeling when exiting the shower. But, after drying off, that sensation goes away. Over-softening seems to be a problem with many Branson motels/hotels though.

Pros: Clean Rooms, Laundry Room, Exercise Room, Great Complimentary Hot Breakfast, Outdoor facilities are well lit at night, Exit doors automatically lock, Off the main strip so noise was never an issue

Bathrooms are really small and the sink is separate from the bathroom, the view we had was of the balconies at the hotel across the street, hubby didn't care for the hard mattress, compared it to sleeping on concrete (I loved it and slept comfortably every night), pool only 3 ft deep, breakfast room is really small, more than 10 people and it's elbow to elbow

This hotel is in my top 5 for Branson. I have stayed here at least 4 or 5 times over the past couple years and each stay has been excellent. Location, cleanliness are two of the top features for this hotel.

To me, the beds are hard - not hard enough to keep you up all night but are not overly comfortable. Also, this is the second time I noticed this - breakfast wasn't ready on time. Most of it was, but 20 minutes after it opened they were still filling items.
