Slumber Inn Harrisonville

It is an old motel, but has been well maintained/updated. The room was extremely clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. It is very easy to get to off of the highway. The owners were friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice to have a small coffee maker in the room. It did have a good fridge and microwave. Another suggestion is a hook to hang bath towels on in the bathroom. There isn't a breakfast at all at the motel, but there is a big truck stop across the road that has excellent food in the restaurant there. The only problem with the truck stop being so close, is all the truck traffic/noise all hours of the night. Next time we stay we'll ask to stay on the back side away from the truck stop.

Could not reach the mirrors; I'm short. The bathroom vanity is way too high for me. A big table was put in front of the bedroom mirror, so couldn't reach it either. Bad lighting by both mirrors. Would have been nice to have a trash can in the main area as well as the bathroom instead of just 1 trash can. Tissues would have been nice. Water lines were put in backwards. Drain stopper was not hooked up, but they're going through renovations. You may need to ask for an actual bath towel. I didn't realize until I asked for an extra one that the towels in the room did not contain a bath towel. I just thought they had really small bath towels. The bed was very comfortable.

We are regulars. Either i will book on booking.com or walk up. Sense i had this trip planned for weeks, i booked it weeks ago. The owner called a few days before my trip and told me that there will be someone else that will be working while I'm staying. Really liked the employees. I will continue to come back to this hotel for future stays and the price is reasonable.

There isn't any complaints. Maybe more pillows but nothing to extreme. Plus i am not picky.

The room was very spacious, the bed was super comfy and the place was immaculate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no breakfast but there is a Dunkin Donuts right across the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Only thing I suggested to the manager was the lack of hooks in the bathroom. Hardly a problem.

The room was a nice large king size, with sofa and plenty of room. The AC was not exceptionally quiet, however it was more of a “sleep” sound machine for us than too loud. Overall, a very spacious, clean room for an overnite stay in Harrisonville.

Location was great right off interstate. Truck stop right across the street for breakfast.

Office area usually first impression they need to clean or replace there carpet . Very dirty and stains . Small bathroom but not deal breaker.

There were not able to get us rooms even close together, we were literally at opposite ends of the building. Forced us to change the sleeping arrangements because I wouldn't leave the kids alone on the other end of the building.

Staff was friendly, the fact that it is being fixed up, and the location.

There were places like corners, baseboards, etc that need cleaning.

Direct entrance to motel from car. No lobby to have to carry luggage through or stairs to climb. Large comfortable room.

Not crazy about the paint color, but it’s a matter of taste there, isn’t it?
