Homewood Suites by Hilton St. Louis Westport

Our room was the perfect setup for our family of 6.

While the staff was pleasant, there was no "above and beyond" service, i.e. I noted in our reservation we'd be using the sofa bed. Upon a late night arrival, the sofa bed wasn't made nor was there bedding in the room for it. When I called front desk they said they typically like to keep the extra bedding in the closet but if it wasn't there I could run down for it, which I did. There wasnt a fitted sheet in the set so we had to use a blanket for it. There are a few opportunities of better service for that scenario.

The check in staff were super helpful and very welcoming. We came with a large group with very young children and they were exceptional with getting us checked in quickly to get the kids to bed. Breakfast both days we stayed was very good. And the pool was clean. Only issue we had were they ran out of towels and in our room we only had a single set the first night and had to ask for enough for the 2 adults and 4 kids in our room.

Parking was hard to find.

The dishes were not clean in the dishwasher, there were no paper towels and the breakfast was tasteless, boring, unappetizing and no choices i.e bacon/sausage. You couldn't taste any love in the food, in a word - eat this to hold you over until you can get something else.

Rhonda, made my stay so nice. Seeing her bright smiling face every morning when I went for coffee. She is an excellent cook. I enjoyed the Wednesday night meet and greet. Christopher at the front desk made me feel very welcomed.

Everything from the price, location, staff to the hotel itself were great! Great for our large family of six to stay comfortably.

The property itself couldn’t really help it, it because of Covid, no hot breakfast was served but instead a prepackaged quick breakfast, which wasn’t terrible. Also, because of Covid, the pool had to be reserved only one hour a day per family and it was completely booked the entire weekend we were there as soon as we checked in at 4pm. Ended up staying an extra night, a Sunday night, and finally got an hour reserved for the pool, and then it went down for maintenance. For kids, the hotel pool is a big thing, but we found other things to do and it was still a great stay!

Clean and very spacious rooms, especially for the price. Very friendly and hard-working staff. It was an extremely busy weekend with Mardi Gras being on Saturday and yet both requests I made for extra sheets and blankets someone was up to my room and less than 10 minutes with a smile delivering them to me.

I can't say I really dislike anything about the hotel.

The whole experience and stay was amazing. The staff were all friendly and eager to assist us. The room was absolutely amazing. Breakfasts had something for all ages. Will definitely return.

That the window in the room didn't open therefore no evening fresh air could be allowed in.

I stayvweek before as well, but this week was constant noise over my head till 1130pm 1200 midnight

Last week stay nosey

There was only one very minor issue with cleaning that I had, but I am a very picky person who also works in a hotel, so I know the things to look for that most others wouldn’t. However, I did address this with the front desk clerk and she was very responsive and sweet. Like I said though: very minor issue. The hotel was beautiful. They had a room to accommodate my four daughters, my granddaughter and myself instead of having to rent two separate rooms, so that was a huge plus. The beds....omg....we slept like babies and the view from our room was awesome even if it was just the patio and pool we could see.

There wasn’t anything to dislike except for the fact that COVID has taken a lot away from travelers that could be done, but can’t because of the restrictions, which I definitely don’t hold the hotel responsible for.

Pet friendly. Very clean! We had a kitchen which made life easier! Able to accommodate 2vehicles/2 trailer parking in back of building (pull through parking). Free laundry if you have a room!

Only issue I had was our toilet ran day and night and at one point needed a repair from my husband.
