Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Poplar Bluff

Beds were so comfortable, sheets were great, pillows exceptional. Staff was nice, bfast was delicious. Coffee was great. Room was nice with the suite with sofa, it was an extra room, nice. We stopped there our first night to Denver, and on way home from Denver i made reservations for our last night on OP the road before heading back to Tn. My husband wanted to go to Menards. For those of you who don't know of Menards, it is a Home Depot on steroids. It was cool, I even went.

There was nothing I didn't like.

My car broke down in Poplar Bluff, MO and I am grateful we stopped where we did. We stopped at the hotel around 8PM, checked in and when I got in the car to move it, I couldn't put the car in gear. Fortunately, the hotel let me keep it parked under the canopy for the night. Last minute I brought an extra set of keys so I could lock my car. The young man at night and young lady working in the morning were a blessing!!!!

Everything was perfect. Room was clean and we had everything we needed. Great breakfast selections.

Staff was FRIENDLY and COURTEOUS!!!, Had a nice pool. The gym had a good amount of space and equipment.

We had to leave early so we didn't get to use the gym, nothing to do with the Inn. Didn't get to check out the breakfast nothing to do with the inn. We had to get up early and needed to retire early but due to school ball game at the school next door using an extremely loud bullhorn which ended early enough under normal wake up time, again no reflection on the Inn, we just had leave very early.

We walked in the room & the TV automatically came in with a “Welcome” on the screen, followed by my name. Very clean & extremely friendly staff. Finding a hotel with a descent breakfast & good selection is hard these days, but not for you guys! Kudos!

This is my second stay here & both times the pool was too cold to swim in longer than a few minutes. I would’ve enjoyed being able to spend more time in the pool, but the water was too cold to enjoy.

Checking in was quick and easy. Common areas and room were clean. I have high expectations and have switched hotels before based on the cleanliness and I was pleasantly impressed. Please be sure and recognize the housekeeping staff, this past year has been rough and your staff are working hard and it shows. I appreciate the 24 hour fitness center, some hotels do not open their fitness centers early enough for people who need to get back on the road.

The only suggestion, not critique, that I have is that you set up a serving area and have your staff serve the chosen items to the guest for breakfast. I did appreciate the gloves and sanitizer since you are still doing self serve.

Clean and updated, the happy hour snack, the bed was comfortable, the temperature control maintained a good temperature. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The shower had what appeared to be mildew along the wall /floor joint. The toilet would run if you didn't go back and shake the handle.

Good room service, Nice facility.

Breakfasts were a bit small....No juices for a week.. (the grocery store was nearby?) Was promised sugar free syrup, but it was not provided. Tips were returned? I had to take them to the manager. Pool was tiny!

The hotel inside is beautiful and there were many choices for breakfast.

We stayed in room 120 which is right next to the cafeteria, honestly it was noisy all night which led to us not getting enough sleep. Being right next to the cafeteria you hear people coming and going , and we heard through our window all night people coming and going. We suggest staying on a higher floor.

Breakfast was good selection. Location was great right off the side of the highway. Room was very comfy and not just some cheap shampoo or soap in the restroom. Amazing value for what we paid. I would definitely go back.

The staff could've been a little more friendly or maybe put a visible clock in the pool area. Staff might also be well informed of breakfast hours as we noticed a couple misinformed and were upset they didn't make it to breakfast.

Awesomely beautiful room! It was a nice size, fitting 2 queen beds. The mattresses were very nice; not too firm and not too soft. The bathroom was outstanding! The shower head was so high, it was difficult to reach (I'm 5'4") to redirect the spray into the tub instead of onto the wall. I didn't stay for the breakfast, but it sounded really good! Otherwise, a true gem!

I liked my entire stay!
