Country Motor Inn

Small and cozy, parking was available close to the room. Both rooms were very clan and taken care of. Friendly staff, easy to deal with. Will return again.

A/C in the wall just above one of the beds, we had to turn it off and just open windows during the night. It night temperatures are below 65 it is tolerable. Wooden table finish is a bit sticky, probably needs a final coat or so... but in general it is minor and tolerable. Proximity of the train tracks, you can hear the train signals during the night.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Facilities were very clean and nice looking; it looked newly remodeled. There was a great view of the mountains when we looked out the window and walked out the door.

The windows need curtains because the blinds were not enough to keep the light out at night. The place is close to an active railroad, unfortunately.

Neet old hotel ,that they had fixed up very nicely, Floors were really nice, soft beds.

Room was quite small, bathroom was quite small. The staff leave the property around 10 pm So if there's a problem ,you have to call some one to come back (luckily we had no problems) there was to be a staff person back at 7 am. They were not there even at 20 after 7am

Location was exactly 14 minutes on foot to Livingston Main St, just about my threshold. Didn't have too much interaction with the staff, but everyone i encountered was friendly enough and that's important. The room was clean, and included a coffee maker. Important since the nearest coffee shop is not close on foot that i could see.

Not many options in Livingston if you want to remain on foot into town. Supply/Demand made this the best option around, however a little expensive for a motel Approx $175/night Inc. Tax, i think we can thank the Pandemic for that. The room was small but we didn't spend much time in there anyway. A couple of callouts. No hand soap or shampoos in the room, so bring your own. The A/C is a wall unit, so when it's on it's a gale. Not complaining but if your not a wall unit person or your a light sleeper, this will keep you awake at night.

Very well maintained room in terms of furnishings, walls, bathroom, etc. , everything worked well, felt like the management really cared about the condition of the room. Liked the microwave and refrigerator for such a budget price, plus there was a nicel window for light, with view of trees and sky, on the back side of my room, rather than just the usual one window facing the parking lot and landing.

Bed was pretty soft, kind of sinks in, freezer space in refrigerator was very small and unusable due to ice, so don't bring frozen food. Sign in lobby reserving the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason is a bit off-putting, "will I make the grade?" I wondered, but presume it also keeps things quiet and clean and civil, which also provides a comfortable feeling.

Small, older room at a "motor inn". Room had everything needed (including a fridge). Its basic but clean and a good value. Close, but not really walkable to town (5 min drive). If you're looking for a good value, close to town this is it.

Nothing really. I had basic needs, the property delivered.

My inquisitive mind just had to know the story of the marque saying! This is my second booking at the Country Motor Inn because our first stay was the"Discovery of a real Gem" of this unique Inn! On my return stay is when I noticed the marque saying out front, because I was overwhelmed with the warm comfortable greeting I received from Ms. Cindy, the owner, and the down to earth feeling of the room we stayed in I felt like I was at home! To a traveler this is very important to feel welcome and safe! That was a great night's sleep and worthy of returning to a place that I can call my home away from home!! Okay! I know your more interested in hearing the exact story of the marque saying "Charlie is Cool!" And did I ask? Well, of course! And it is a story worthy to be told by Cindy herself! If your planning on driving thru Livingston, Montana book your room at the Country Motor Inn not just to hear the story from Cindy, but to see the charming eclectic Inn, and to be greeted by the friendly and wonderful owners Cindy and Billy! Believe me you'll make this Inn your favorite home away from home to stay at when you are passing through Livingston, Montana! P.S. also if curiosity has grabbed you! No dislikes about this place!

The very minute I walked in the lobby to check in I was greeted by a very warm, friendly smiling owner Cindy! As soon as I walked in Cindy said are you Keeley my newest reservation? I immediately felt welcomed and right at home! When opening the door to our room the same warmth I was greeted while checking in. The establishment is older but the individual decor in room's gives it that comfy,,homey feel!

My expected dislikes wee total surprises! When I am booking a room thru booking.com I always view the photos of the rooms and outside facilities. The Photos of the Country Motor Inn indicated the facilities were older and not as modern as some of the brand name hotels, but the photos cannot give you a feel for the uniqueness and very comfy feel the rooms and hotel makes you feel after a long day of being on the road!

Liked the fridge, microwave and the coffee machine. It allowed me to buy food at the supermarket and to dine in my room. Cindy and her husband were very friendly and reactive: they lent me metal coat hangers and a small dresser. Had many towels and toiletries. The room had been renovated. I liked the heating system in the room and hot water in the shower.

The room was very comfortable, basic to my travel needs and being on the ground floor was a bonus for access to my vehicle. The bed was comfortable and the refrigerator was a nice bonus. Additionally having a coffee maker in the room made the morning easier!

I can't think of anything I did not like. The staff was pleasant and efficient at check in. My room was ready when I arrived.
