Kelly Inn West Yellowstone

ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED our stay at this SUPERB hotel from Oct 3-Oct 7...!!! Excellent location, just few minutes’ walking distance from prominent attractions including the “ Welcome to Montana” sign, the park’s West entrance, etc ...and also many popular restaurants. ... The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center was right across the street and the IMAX was just one minute from this hotel.... !!! Hotel ambience was wonderful and the daily free hot breakfast buffet was delightful and sumptuous with plenty of healthy and tasty options. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juices were available 24 hours which was a big plus point .... since we could sit and relax in the lounge late evenings after long hours of sightseeing.... The hotel staff were very welcoming and always helpful with everything. We especially want to express our sincere thanks to the wonderful lady at the Front Desk/Lobby 🙏🙏...She was always very helpful and allowed us to check in two hours early . She had also arranged in advance a free pickup ride for us from the airport .... and again arranged a free ride to the airport from the hotel on the third day ... since we decided to pick up a rental car from there for just one day, as we already had 2 full day tours booked with the Yellowstone Vacation Tours and needed rental car only for one day. Our room was very clean and cozy and came with amenities like free WiFi, microwave, fridge, etc. DEFINITELY will stay at this hotel during future visits to Yellowstone....👌👌🙏🙏👌👌

Breakfast included! It opens at 6.30 AM, which is good to grab something to eat and leave to wildlife! Swimming pool + SPA included! Spacious room and "mountain-home" design + furniture appreciated. Fridge and microwave in the room. Staff was very nice and welcoming. It's located in West Yellowstone, nice town to dine out, buy souvenirs and grab a sandwich at the supermarket. Kelly Inn is very close to McDonald's, which is also great when you're hungry and in a hurry, too. Parking lot available.

Breakfast was good, but I'd have enjoyed more variety in the sweet choice, instead of salty. Bathroom was small and the bathtub did not work efficiently (water took much time to drain). Not a real issue, though. Just a suggestion to improve.

The Kelly Inn in West Yellowstone, Wyoming was a wonderful place to stay while we visited Yellowstone National Park. The rooms are large, the breakfast each morning is exceptional, the staff is helpful and friendly, the pool is clean and a nice amenity to have at the end of a day of walking and touring, and the hotel has two laundry rooms which are so useful when staying for a week. The hotel is conveniently located for entering YNP and is immaculate and attractively decorated. A fantastic place to stay in West Yellowstone!

I cannot think of anything that I did not like at the Kelly Inn.

Very nice room. Clean, comfortable. So glad to see laundry facilities on our floor. Had not seen that listed in amenities. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Close to West Entrance into Yellowstone National Park.

Not very quiet, especially at night. Could hear voices of other guests, especially children’s voices all night. Asked for non smoking room and non pet room(I think), and that’s the type of room we had. Our room was really good but there were dogs In many rooms on our floor. No problem with noise, but could tell that animals were present. No smell of dog waste or uncleanliness, just odor of animals, sometimes wet animals, in hallways. Area where breakfast was available was cramped. Seating was good, never had problem finding a place to sit

We were very impressed with this hotel. The staff at the front desk was very helpful, especially since our room keys always accidentally deactivated being next to cell phones- a few times. The hotel was clean, rooms were well lit, beds were comfortable. We appreciated the hardwood floors and updated room. We booked a room on the 1st floor and were so glad we did as we could park our vehicle right outside the door and easily carry our cooler and luggage into/out of the hotel. There was a nice variety of breakfast options and the food was good.

Being nit-picky- The room keys were too easily deactivated, causing us issues getting into our room a couple times. It was also hard to find a place to sit for breakfast and the split dining room wasn’t the greatest. It was chilly in the dining room closest to the door with the door always opening.

We love this place. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious for a family of five. Front desk personnel were very professional, courteous and helpful. The complimentary hot breakfasts were delicious and had a lot of different food options. Having free endless coffee, juices, teas, milk, hot chocolate and water available throughout the day was wonderful. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were refreshing after a long day in Yellowstone. We were also within walking distance to stores, restaurants, museums, a movie theater, grocery store, and the center of town which was nice. We would recommend Kelly Inn if you visit West Yellowstone. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

The desk staff was very accommodating for special needs for my elderly mother. We entered in an outside door with convenient parking. The room was decorated with a cabin feel. Room was quiet. Breakfast was a acceptable and convenient to grab and go. Hot tub and swimming area was very nice. Very convenient to downtown shopping and restaurants with in walking distance. Bear and wolf discovery center access the street. McDonalds next door.

Beds were soft and made noise when ever I moved. We had a leaky sink but not a problem for our stay. The ice bucket came in handy. The problem was reported and the will fix it. The tub needs grab bars for elderly. Tub did have a nonslip mat. Add sheers to windows so dark shades could we left open for light.

Large suite with comfortable king size bed and pillows. The bathroom was large with a great shower and good water pressure. We had a nice living room and small dining table too. There is daily housekeeping, if you want it. The room is very comfortable. The location is great. We were near the entrance to YNP and shops& restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and get a room like this again. The service was friendly from check-in to check- out.

I can't think of anything, other than we had to leave and go back to reality, aka jobs, yard work, house cleaning, cooking.....etc.

The location to the entrance of the park was perfect and it was a good location for wandering around downtown close to shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and professional and check in and check out was a breeze. The beds were very comfortable.

The breakfast was average for a free hotel breakfast but part of that could’ve been that we didn’t get down there until close to the end of serving time.

Decent sized room with refrigerator and microwave, comfortable bed, large bathroom, easy and quick check in/out process. Parking was plenty and close to building. Close proximity to restaurants and the west entrace to Yellowstone.

Very loud AC unit. The bathroom sink drain was draining very slow. The bathroom vent didn't work most of the time. Housekeeper knocking on door at 9 AM on the date of departure to clean the room, should allow guests ample time to check out since check out is by 11 AM.
