Wagon Wheel Hotel

The hotel was clean, great access to the West Entrance of Yellowstone, and the staff was very accommodating! My Dad and I were getting up to leave early and the lady at the front desk packed a bag of bagels for us to go since we’d be too early for breakfast. The previous morning we had eggs and potatoes for breakfast and it was good! Beds were comfy and room was nice. Overall this was a great experience and I would stay again the next time I am in West Yellowstone.

I wouldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like. I liked the hotel. However, if I would give a suggestion it would be to have door hangers in the bathroom for towels, etc., that’s all :)

Booked a deluxe room Mid-May of 2023. Made a special request and property got back to me right away. West Yellowstone is inordinately expensive due to its proximity to Yellowstone Park, so the $200+ booking price did not guarantee a good room or property. We were more than pleasantly surprised to find a new 3-story hotel with elevator. Staff was very welcoming, location was about 3 blocks from center of town which put it outside the "fray" of the insanely busy town. Enjoyed the very large deluxe room with 2 queen size beds. Room was spotless, 3rd floor view was generally of trees. Two things to be aware of: Google Maps brings you to the back of the hotel which is probably good because that is where the paved parking is. However, you have to walk around the side of the hotel past the mechanical equipment to get to the front entrance. Probably because the hotel is new the area in front of the hotel entrance is not paved yet and might be paved after the area dries out from the winter? Secondly, I am very short (5') and 70 years old, the great bed is very high and was not accessible to me. The front desk agent recommended using the overstuffed chair as a footstool; chair was easy to move and that solution worked like a charm.

Everything was top notch. The staff was congenial upon our arrival and was always eager to accommodate us. The room was more than adequate for us and was cleaned and made up every day. The breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, bagels, pastries, etc.) was simple but well done. This hotel is a great value, and the location could not be better for a visit to Yellowstone NP. I would not hesitate to stay there again and commend it to my friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and we enjoyed the boiled eggs that she made each day for breakfast. Oatmeal would be a nice addition. The bed was comfortable and the towels were very thick and nice. The hotel was within walking distance of restaurants that we liked.

The walls between the rooms were thin. We could hear the TV and a man snoring in the next room. Unless the hotel is completely full, they should space out the guest rooms.

The exterior and parking lot of the hotel looks very meh but the interior is very nice. The rooms are large and clean, the amenities seem very new.

I didn’t like the way they charge money: 50% on the day you book + 50% on the day you arrive + $200 deposit (refundable). It makes my credit card statement unnecessarily complicated.

This was a hidden gem, just off the main area of town, quiet and comfortable! The front desk is the sweetest lady ever, rooms are new, mattress was really nice! I needed a handicap room and it was best equipped I’ve had, a walk in shower, shower chair, safety rails. Nothing fancy but super clean and comfortable for 1/2 the price!

It's brand new the bed is so comfortable the room has a great desk for ur computer the bathroom is big nice TV lots of chanels nice front desk person very accommodating if ur staying in West yellow stone this is the best place to stay by far the breakfast is good also

Nothing it was perfect

Great location right in town could walk everywhere and only a 10 min drive to yellowstone park entrance. Hotel was super cozy and gave a cool yellowstone vibe. Beds were very comfy!

Breakfast was average.

The hotel is new. Family owned and managed. Mrs. Kyoso - does everything to make your stay at the hotel nothing less than excellent. The room is large, very comfortable beds, very clean, there is a fridge, coffee machine, microwave - simply the three night stay was spectacular. Highly recommend!!!

Everything new! The owner/manager was very helpful.

Only 2 pillows for 2 people in a king room. The pillows were so flat/soft I had difficulty sleeping. Also, the room was too warm and we couldn't get air-conditioning going. Had to open windows wide.
