Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kearney

I stopped staying at Days Inn in the past 15-20 years because the brand has fallen into a dumpster fire. This hotel is the exception. It was very clean, quiet, and a great location. The room and such were up to date. Everything worked. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My options for a hotel on this trip were limited due to cost and my driving schedule. Though I was at first hesitant to book a Days Inn after avoiding the brand like the plague the past 2 decades, I was very surprised when I checked in. This place is on my repeat list when the need arises.

Not really a negative but the parking lot lights was about 10 feet from our window. So there was more-than-normal amount of light coming in on the edge of the blinds. Due to the fact we were so tired from driving, I fell asleep and it never bothered me. I did appreciate the full-window shades. I wish other hotels would adopt this standard.

Breakfast was fabulous, especially the scrambled eggs & pancakes. It was great that we could get all of our breakfast needs in the facility and didn't have to go out searching for a good breakfast. It was clean and well stocked.

We had reserved a handicap accessible room, however the young lady who assigned us to a room did not place us in a handicap accessible room. Then the second night she assigned our room to another guest. I don't know how she could assign a room (which we had checked in for a 6 night stay) to another guest.

A nice place to stay, but. I believe they may have allowed pets into the room we slept in. When I first entered the room it had that "wet soggy dog fur smell" It's a smell anyone who owns a dog that hasn't had a bath in a while odor that's had to get out of carpet or furniture. I got use to the smell, but think a good carpet cleaning would have helped or at least air fresheners. Also the breakfast was nothing to rave about, just and average offering.

Very comfortable and clean room. The King size bed was great. Slept well. The bathroom was nice, especially the shower. I was able to take a hot massaging shower before bed. Very spacious. The breakfast offerings were good; scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pancakes, and apple juice, but they also had yogurt, dry cereals, orange juice and coffee. The location was right off I80.

The Hotel seemed new. The room was very large and well furnished with a Naugahyde sofa and a large desk. No bad or overly perfume smells in the room. King bed and shower were excellent. Bathroom had a Smart Mirror which had perimeter lighting and a defog feature. Towels were big and thick. Front desk was fast and efficient. Breakfast was excellent

Breakfast was good. We were there on an early morning crane watching trip, and got back to the hotel just after breakfast hours. The hotel was nice enough to extend breakfast for the crane watchers. Once you're in the blind, you can't leave until the cranes do! My husband was delighted to find a Red Lobster next door.

No tub, and no shower cap. They didn't even have them for sale at the front desk.

The morning breakfast was pretty good, they had a bologna ring instead of standard sausage, so that was pretty nice. Room was clean and well kept, comfy bed. Easy access on/off from the interstate. Check-in girl was very friendly! Overall would recommend!

Room seemed a little musty when we first entered. A/C was on and set to 64, not sure why, but it smelled a little dank.

We spent a week traveling and this hotel was the best by far! From the entry to the room, to the laundry to the breakfast area, everything was clean and nice. Our room was huge! And comfortable. Breakfast was great. A wonderful home away from home. From now on, this brand of hotel will be the first in our search.

Absolutely no improvements needed!

My wife, my daughter and myself were traveling to attend a funeral for one of my sisters who died from complications from COVID-19. This was a difficult time and it was very important that the accommodations be especially comforting. This hotel was exactly what we needed! The rooms, the staff, the cleanliness, etc. were superb. The breakfast was awesome each morning, and we couldn't believe how quiet the rooms were. This was definitely what we needed in this time of solace. God Bless the staff for their personal consolation. We will come back to this hotel again for sure!

We can not complain about anything. Even the cleaning staff would change the linens every day!

Breakfast had a wide selection of bagels, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and yogurt. The bed was big but too hard for my back. I loved the bathroom and the touch light and touch steam. Need more coffee in rooms and shampoo and conditioner but all-in-all 9.5 out 10!

The bed was too hard for my back and TV channels wasn’t a lot of channels.
