La Quinta by Wyndham Kearney

The lending book library. The rooms were clean and updated. The handicapped shower was perfect to give our dog a bath. Plenty of grass around the hotel. Staff was friendly, efficient, and intelligent. Proximity to highway and local coffee shops since we couldn't go to the breakfast area with our dog.

Wish we could have gone to the breakfast...we traveled with a dog...which according to the paper we signed wasn't allowed to be left alone in the room or go into the breakfast area. So that is the only drawback. One elevator was down and the other one was slow. Toilets were slow to flush.

Very very clean, everything seemed like new, the rooms cleanliness was AMAZING, the carpet was new, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were also very clean! Stopped down to breakfast before games, typical continental breakfest but does the job. Nice areas to do some work if needed, the fitness room actually has weights to use which is a bonus, the pool area was nice and clean also. Will definitely be back.

we travel often with our pet and laQuinta’s are our first choice due to their convenient pet policy and no extra pet fee. when I checked into this one they charged me a $30 pet fee😳. it wasn’t posted on the site that there would be an additional pet fee. the lady checking us in said LaQuinta’s have changed their pet policy. if you’re going to go from “no additional pet fee” across all LaQuinta’s to “now charging a fee” make it known on the website when reserving a room.

Location at end of town by Interstate 80 and Conference Centre, so some good restaurants walking distance. Laundry kept clean and fresh, but they need to offer to buy bottles of laundry detergent at little shop. Nice to have access to tea and coffee during the day ...

Breakfast could use real eggs instead of the horrible powered ones ... but the waffle machine is a hit for kids I guess ... Little noisy but all hotels would be around this location.

Nice accomodations. Close to restaurants and shopping. Pet friendly and there were patches of grass nearby by walk the dogs. Clean and bright entrance.

Check-in was slow and I was basically ignored for a long time. It took a while to even get a "hey we'll be with you soon." Quintin was the name I remember; he acted like he could care less if I was there.

Pillows were all foam which cause me headaches. I stay at holiday inn express because they offer feather pillows as well. Was very disappointed in this particular issue for me. Beakfast closes at 9 o’clock and I  would rather stay open until 10 AM… Again, Holiday Inn express leaves theirs open until 10 AM

The efficiency, the professionalism of the staff, the pool, laundry facility and the exercise area.My room was absolutely more than I expected.

Maybe more variety at breakfast bar. I love fruit. More variety of pastries. More variety with coffees. Maybe a coffee cart. Having a variety of this available 24 7.

The La Quinta has a tremendous staff that is always friendly and welcoming. The service is very good and check-in is quick and easy. There rooms are clean and well maintained, and the pool area is always well stocked with towels. The rooms are comfortable and it has become our preferred place to stay in Kearney.

The only drawback right now is the breakfast due to the pandemic. The hot breakfast that they once supplied is now gone because of COVID-19 risks and has been replaced by a bagged breakfast. The bagged breakfast is full of items and well-stocked, but it just doesn't meet the standards my family has for breakfast, so we go out.

This was our second stay at a La Quinta motel, and like the first time we stayed in one the motel was modern and very clean, with friendly staff. During our trip, we made a point of booking this chain before trying others, and weren't disappointed.

Nothing serious to complain about, but a minor quibble that they seem to have difficulty getting pet-owning guests on the first floor (we were on the second). As we've seen in other pet-friendly motels we've stayed at, the chances of accidents before getting a pet outside is much higher when needing to take an elevator.

Room was great, clean, and staff awesome. I left my daughter's small butterfly radio and called them today and said they have it..since I have to travel later this month, I'll for SURE stay at this LaQuinta on the way back from Chicago.

I was surprised that I was charged $20 per dog, because when I usually stay at other La Quinta's it's included in the price... In addition, this LaQuinta was much more expensive. I usually stay at Holiday Inn Express which is usually less expensive and they only charge me a flat fee of $25 for our two dogs.
